Bio Photo Returned to Missouri after spending 2001 thru 2010 in SE Pennsylvania. Presently working for the State of MO. so this is something I do in my spare time. My dad's family turned up in Lexington, MO. I believe in the 1880's orgins from Scottish and unknown orgins, my moms family has orgins in many different European nations, the most notable being the Rickey's of Scotland.

Loretta (Willis) Rainey-Fones
Winfrey photo
Hello Bill, you've made great contributions! You have posted a photo to Mollie Florence Winfrey's memorial # 23658782. Mollie shares this stone with her daughter, Cora #100346286. Would you please copy the photo to Cora's memorial too. Thank you so much. Mollie was the grandmother of my neighbor, Nellie Ruth (Bowlen) Rodenberg. This was a sad event for the Winfrey family. Mollie was stricken with influenza and died on a Saturday. Her daughter, Cora, age 2, died on Monday, followed by Mollie's husband on Wednesday, leaving an only surviving daughter, Nellie Evelyn, who was 4 years old at the time. Thank you Bill. "Each Day Counts", Loretta

simmons at mt.tabor
Thanks Bill for looking for the graves of Rosa,Don,and Mamie Simmons. These children were my aunts and uncle that I never new existed. They died of typhoid in 1913.I found two of three death certificates in which it states internment at Mt.Tabor.These were very poor people at the time.the loss of three children close together was probably unaffordable,so maybe there were no markers.I do thank you very much for searching. Billy G. Preuitt
Higginsville City Cemetery - Billy Gene Preuitt is my father. His birth date is 7 March 1930. He is still very much alive! He bought this plot, next to his Mother, several years ago as part of his estate plan. His greatest joy is to tell people that he bought the plot for $25...a darn good deal he says.

Bea Canterbury
My father came from the Canterbury family and there is a Beatrice Canterbury, born 11 Aug 1886 in Kansas City, Mo and died in February 1985 in Sun City, AZ. She is the daughter of Franklin Payne Canterbury and very well could have been buried with a large number of other Canterburys in the Higginsville Cemetery. Thanks for the picture!
