Charles Korpi
Hi,
I got pics of Charles Korpi's grave per your request. This one did not turn out real good. The stone is rather weather worn and the letters on this stone were not cut very deep. I scrubbed it up and got it as clean as I could but this stone was just not a very photogenic stone to begin with. This cemetery appears to have had different outfits make their stones over the years. Some stones are cut really deep and others are very shallow. I like the ones cut real deep because they usually have a shadow in the bottom of the letters where the sun does not hit, that makes the letters look a lot darker, thusly making the letters stand out a whole lot better and clearer. I got there just in time too right before this stone went into the shade of the big tree it is by.

RE: George/Katherine Derr
I'm sorry, I don't. I just photograph the stones and add names and stones to Find A Grave. Sorry!

RE: George Derr
Just go into the main page where it says to find a person. It is right on top. About half way down is a place for a memorial number. I just did it and the name came right up. If you can't get it to work write back and I will see what I can do. I do remember the last names was the same as yours.

RE: St Albert Catholic Cemetery
You are most welcome! and thanks for the pat on my back. Being retired I have lots of time to get out and take photos, just yesterday a friend and I went to 3 different little cemeteries about an hour from home, it was her first time traveling with me and she found it intriguing, not likely to carry a camera but very interested in the family dynamics the were so obvious from the grouping of family names.

If you find I have more of your family please let me know. I see Stony Plain is on your list and I have entered names from cemeteries out there so I hope you will find some family there

St Albert Catholic Cemetery
Hi Debbie

I have transfered the 4 people to you. I love reuniting families! It is almost as good as being out in the sunshine taking photos in Cemeteries!

If you use the edit tab at the top of the persons page and then the suggest a correction link that would make it easier for the person making the transfer and ensure they transfer the right person to you. Oh and do not forget to add your 'number' That also makes life a little easier for the transferer! Not sure if transferer is a real word but it seems to fit the situation

RE: Thank you
Hold the phone. I finally found him. It is Rollo, not Rolo. Maybe I need to clean my glasses off or not get in such a big hurry?! You spelled it right, Rollo. I got one L into my head for some odd reason but I got that straightened out. He is in section CC. I have to get pics of someone else in section CC just a couple rows over from where Rollo is buried. So I was going right by there anyway. I will add him to my list, ok?
So, you discovered that I added pics to the other Palmer's. You had only claimed Katherine. It was obvious when I found her grave that the others were all related to her so I just went ahead and took pics of all of their graves and added them to their pages. The other Palmer's gravestones were a bit on the older side and rather weather worn. Rollo will have a lot newer stone and it should be in a lot better shape and make for a better picture.
