RE: Media-Image of Headstone for Thomas and Alice Pells
Hi Jennifer
Thanks for replying to my query. I have been able to add the headstone photo to both Thomas Pells and Alice Williams from my computer file. I have also linked them as husband and wife, that may take a day or two to show on the website.
Best wishes

Thanks for the note. I have update the memorial for Lillie as requested and also added links. I got a little bit more info from the online death certificates website.

Let me know if you need anything else! :)

I'm happy you liked the pictures. You have my permission to use my photos in your personal family history and the other photos to FamilySearch and as you see fit.

Harry H Stafford
I am direct descendant of Harry H Stafford buried in Coos Bay, Oregon. I would love to coordinate efforts with you.

I've been to his grave. Although it is not marked, the ground has sunken in so it is clear where he was buried. Thanks Marianne

RE: Harritt B Gehr, Memorial# 690081
Harritt's father is for certain not buried in the same cemetery.
I checked the paper and John Gehr has a funeral notice in the paper, BUT, it does not say where he was being buried. Groan.
The funeral notice did say who buried him. I called that funeral home a few minutes ago and they are going to check their records to see if they have anything that says where he was buried. It might be a couple days before they get back to me I don't know?
The OR death index shows that John Gehr's wife's name was Ida.
Ida is in the OR death index as dying in Portland June 8, 1931. I checked the Metro Cemetery index and Ida was buried in Lone Fir Cemetery. Ida has a page on Find A Grave for her in that cemetery and I suppose you already know that.
John is probably buried there too and his name is grossly misspelled in their records or something? Maybe not though.
If I find where they hid him I will let you know, ok?

RE: Emily's Headstone

Yes to both questions. I know that some claim ownership to the photos they take, but I am not one of them. My thinking is that the photos belongs to those beneath the headstone and the loved ones they left behind. My hope is that every photo will add one more piece to a family mosaic and I am very happy to be a part of that.

Thank you.
