The photo I did on Altagracia Blanco was at the very beginning of my start with F-A-G and I did a poor job of explaining the photo. In that blocked off area there are 7 graves but only two are marked. The other 5 are weather beaten and are unmarked. Altagracia is one of the unmarked ones. I do have photos of Lucia M. Blanco, 1926-1983; Carmen Blanco 1876-1956; Antonio Blanco Sr., 1874-1945; Jose Blanco, 1916-1978; Manuel L. Blanco, 1910-1985 and a Marje Guera Blanco, 1912-1994. If you wish to post a memorial I'll be happy to post the photos for each.

|Jim Jones||Cedar Pete|
Cedar Pete was actually Captain Pete, a Nuwuvi (Paiute) leader from Cedar City.
He died in 1924. He lead a band of people who lived around Cedar City, Utah. This group refused to go to the Reservation in Moapa, Nevada.
He lead a non-violent resistance to the Federal Government and was not afraid to express his view on behalf of his people. He resisted the drafting of his young men to serve overseas in World War I. His presence in Grafton may have been due to the fact that the group in Cedar City was experiencing a tuberculosis epidemic in 1924 and had been asked to relocate by the local white residence. He may even have died from the disease.
He was preceded as Captain (headman) by Coal Creek John. He took the widow of Coal Creek John as one of his wives, but leaders were not by linage, but picked by the rest of the band. Coal Creek John was the nephew of Wakara, (Ute Chief Walker) Thanks
