I have been researching the Medlin, Orr, Dobbins, Arnold and Reese families part time for over 20 years. I have a sense of pride in the Medlin Cemetery in Trophy Club, Texas as so many of my ancestors are buried there.|

hello storm, could you tell me how you came by the photograph of my father's grandmother? are you related to her? or to the person on ancestry who is connected with that family tree? i would love to know about the photo, your connection to it and or to lily, and to contact the person who gave it to you. and especially how you came to post it on the find- a- grave with grave whispers detailed information.
most appreciatively, mary emerson-smith

HI Paul, I think we've been in contact off and on over the last few years. Just wanted to let you know that I'm just starting to get back into genealogy. I researched for about 40 years and got burned out so took a few years off. Now I'm about ready to jump back in. I'm currently unpacking all my old records, and it will take a few months to get them in order as I have several filing cabinets full, plus numerous books of loose leaf family records. As soon as I get things in order I'll join the groups again, I'm especially looking forward to searching the newer records at ancestry.com. Sadly I let my web page expire so I'll probably have to redo all the indexing to make since of it all.
I found a couple of the other children, requested links made and deleted my pages. I was unable to find "Sarah" though, so left her on the page. If you have more info, send it to me. Thanks again,

Thanks so much for the correction for Montgomery Biles. I have deleted the incorrect page in Medlin Cemetery and sent a request for a link to be make to his mother to the person who manages the page in San Antonio. Since that person is no longer accurate, it will be corrected automatically within a month or so. Thanks again!

You are very welcome. She was also my G-G-Grandmother which I did not realize for some time. As I stood there, I was just in awe of her. I expected an old marker of some sort since she was visiting when she died and the headstone was beautiful. As I look at the records of marriage, among others, I am going to have to go with 'Mariah' though. I also noticed that Susie O'Hair, her granddaughter had named one of her girls Mariah - coincidence? or named after her grandmother? The questions never end, do they?

Thanks for your kind words of encouragement, which I sincerely appreciate.
I am great great grandaughter of Luella Schmittou through maternal lines. I have been looking for living Schmittou relatives!

You added a photo of Cecil on this site. I am his daughter and was wondering are you related to my dad, and how you received the picture.
