RE: Littlejohn Cem.
I see now. The problem is obvious: Someone told Find-A-Grave that the cemeteries were the same and needed to be merged. Then, as Find A Grave sometimes does, they obliged without looking at the cemetery gate photos, without checking with the person that created the cemeteries in the first place (ME!), without checking with the county keeper, or any other basic confirmation. I have written them and asked that they un-merge the cemeteries. We'll see what happens.

RE: Littlejohn Cem. in North Lamar Co.
Hi. I don't know where you are coming from with this. I am very aware that the Littlejohn/Fairland Cemetery is different than the Littlejohn Cemetery at Chicota. Is there a problem somewhere?

Than k You!
Thank you so much for creating this page and for all your hard work! I typed in my daddy's name in the google search, and yours is the first that came up. My daddy is buried in Paris, Tx. and I live in the DFW area, so to see his grave site was incredible! Thank you again!

re John Wesley Grimes 1858-1936
Please let me correct myself. George was the name of the grandfather of John Wesley Grimes' wife, not her father.

Doris
re John Wesley Grimes 1858-1936
John Wesley Grimes, buried in the Nixon Cemetery, Lamar County, TX, was the son of Martha Amanda Davis and John Hart Grimes (both of whom are buried in Maury Co. TN. George was the name his wife, Jennie D. Nixon Grimes' father. The son Roy, who gave the info for the death certificate was understandable mistaken at the time. John Wesley Grimes' mother was sister of my Great Grandfather.

I note you have done a lot of work posting information on FindaGrave. Thank you for your work and I appreciate the time you take to kindly post this info for others.
