Thanks for being a Photo Volunteer!

Thanks for taking the pictures of the markers for Donald L. Smith; his first wife, Blanche Estella Bethel Smith; and his second wife, Lula Edith "Edith" Carpenter Davis Smith at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Norfolk and adding them to Findagrave.

THANK YOU for the photo of Cynthia Gibson Edwards's stone. I was there last week myself (visiting from Pennsylvania) and took a photo (along with her husband Karl's, my great uncle) but it disappeared from my phone and I was quite distressed. Now you have helped complete the photo book. Again, thanks!

Thank you so much for all you do! My question is regarding the family Bible photo you added to your memorial at www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=123800746 -- are you a descendant? I believe this is the same part of the family my ancestor Edmond Bines Pettis (1754-1833) is in and would love to see what family data might be listed in the Bible. There is also a strange coincidence in regard to Judson's daughter (Eliza J Semple Pettis Kellam) or a very close connection to my part of the family -- my 5G uncle Madison Pettis married Eliza Harwood Semple, and my 4G uncle (son of my 4X ggf) married Eliza Jane Killian. We are still searching for proof of Edmond's grandparents, so any hints in family Bibles that might give us new leads are most appreciated. Again, many thanks. Beth

Thanks for being a Photo Volunteer!

Thanks for going out to Forest Lawn Cemetery in Norfolk and finding out that Julie Ann DeStaffan Maxey doesn't have a marker.

Also, thanks for taking a picture of the lot. I don't know who Louise Miller or James R. and Elizabeth P. Wilson are and I'm not sure why she is buried on the same lot with them.

First let me thank you for all of the great work that you do for Find A Grave and all of us searching for our ancestor's last resting place. I know you have volunteered untold hours for this great cause. This particular memorial seems to be a duplicate for Jeanette Heath "Nettie" McFarlane Parsons #64640689. Thanks and God Bless!
