Bio Photo We can all do more helping each other than we can working alone.

Working my way through entries I manage in Collin, Wise County and Clay County, Texas. I gained management of a large group of them just recently so is a work in progress.

Earthman Resthaven Cemetery in Houston, Harris County, Texas is a "project" of sorts for me, I have added over 15,000 entries and pictures to this cemetery so far.

If additional information is offered, happy to update entries I manage. I like to connect entries to their spouse and parent's entries, makes it much easier to move around for everyone and adds value to the entry.

Primary lines: Hollis, Patterson, Maxwell, Davenport, Combest, Riggins, Hammonds, Peck, Dick. But am collecting data on all associated surnames.
I love pictures, it brings a little life to these "dead" names on paper we work on every day. smile....Concerning the pictures I post to the Findagrave website, we have to make them smaller to fit on the webpage which means you can't zoom in on the picture to pick up details. If this is case on one you need, write me, I'll try to find the original and send it to you.

I choose to follow Findagrave guidelines for transfer, which can be found on the Findagrave FAQ page, but in summary.

I transfer your ancestors or your descendants or your siblings unless they are my ancestors as well, but remember your grandfather's sister's nephew is not your ancestor....I accept they are part of your family, but let's keep it your ancestors, your siblings or your descendants.

For updates or connections, please the "Suggest a correction" feature on an entry for update or transfer, this gives me a shortcut to the entry as well as sending me the correction you wish made. Typically, I will get the update or connection done the same or next day unless I am out of town.

Please don't make duplicates of existing entries, it is confusing to us all, having said that if I have made a duplicate it was an accident, please advise me so I can get it fixed either by deletion or having findagrave merge the 2 entries to preserve flowers or connections.

Some findagravers insist on having multiple surnames in the surname field because of several marriages, please use the surname they died with as it makes a search for them nigh on to impossible otherwise.

RE: Tamborello
Hi, Richard! Thanks for your prompt response. No, I don't maintain the ones in St. Joseph's; I just contacted you first. I got into the forums and found that the primary memorials should definitely be where the graves are now (Earthman), but I am not convinced that the St. Joseph's memorials should be deleted. I think perhaps they should be marked as "cenotaph" (at least until it can be verified that there are no grave markers left there), with reciprocal html links placed to avoid future duplicates. Even if there are no markers left at St. Joseph's, I would still be inclined to keep the memorials there as place-holders (with html links to the Earthman memorials) to avoid future duplicates. Because since they really were buried there first, there are records that will show that and so someone sometime will add them again. So would you please add an html-link to the corresponding St. Joseph's memorials for Antonio and Croce?

Are you related in any way? I think the other maintainer might be. I'll be happy to contact her, or to stay out of it and let you take care of it, or to take over maintenance of all the memorials and fix them myself, just let me know what you'd like. My connection is that Michaelina Tamborello Eheman was my step-great-grandmother and we've always considered the Tamborellos and Cirillos to be cousins.

Hi Richard,
I did a couple of edits on James's memorial but according to Gladys Dinkloo's duplicate memorial, James is buried in Mt Calvary Baptist cemetery in Russell Co, not in Casey Co. I am assuming she has the right cemetrry since there is a picture of the stone. Would you see that this is corrected. Thank you.

This isn't right. She isn't deceased. This needs to be removed.

Amanda Jane Matthews Hazelwood
According to her death certificate from the state of Texas Amanda was born on 08 OCT 1870 in Jackson County, Alabama. She was the daughter of Wiley Matthews findagrave #11886617 and Mary Ann Taylor. According to the Alabama, Marriage Collection Wiley and Mary Ann were married on 27 Sep 1868 in Jackson County, Alabama. They marriage certificate gives the last name of Taylor, however on the death certificate if lists her last name as Yarborough. I do not know if Taylor was her maiden name as I have no information about her parents. The death certificate states she died in Powderly, Lamar County, Texas on 18 AUG 1954. It states on the death certificate she was buried at Meadow Brook Memorial in Paris, Texas. She was my 1st cousin three times removed.

Warden Cemetery
I am so confused are there 2 Warden Cemeteries one in Collin Co. and one in Grayson Co.. I have a ggg-grandmother that is said to be buried at Warden Cemetery in Grayson Memorial# 5702011
Elizabeth Jane Spears Watson. This same cemetery has another gg-grandparents Mahlon Walker buried there also. But I know for a fact that Mahlon is buried at the Wardon Cemetery listed in Collin Co. near Elmont, Gunter and Van Alstyne, Memorial# 6423020.
Is this a duplication of the same cemetery? How can this be fixed if it is duplicated? Or there are 2 cemeteries with the same name in both counties with some people being listed in both. those will need to be corrected.

RE: Digital File # 4165497 and memorial # 23249461
Sarah's father was James Wesley Crook (not John). Her mother was Nancy J. Parker Crook.
My grandfather, William Riley Crook was a half brother to Sarah E. Crook Vandagriff.
