Guffey
I walked the whole cemetery and checked all legible stones. Those that are illegible seem to belong to other families. I did not find anybody name of Guffey. I will look for anyone of that name and ensure they are listed.

Guffey in Greenhill Cemetery, Churchville VA
William E. Wilson, Jr.'s survey doesn't show ANY Guffey names but I will be going this next week and I'll have a look.

William Flourence's Middle Name
Unfortunately, I don't know. However, you may want to contact the RELIC librarian at the Bull Run Regional Library, Manassas, Virginia. (RELIC is an acronym for the genealogy research information center.) The librarian there was very helpful and had a couple of very good books dealing with Flourence/Florence genealogy. This is where I found information to locate the cemetery.

It was an interesting quest with a fortunate result. The librarian told me that most pre-Civil War graves in Virginia are either unmarked or marked with plain field stone. Finding that someone had emplaced a military marker was a fortuitous surprise! Good luck in your research!
