I have always been interested in my family history, but it became a passion when I made my 2 children scrapbooks a few years back. Gathering family photos and information from my living relatives fuled my curiosity to want to know more. I like to have accurate information so I gather info. from obituaries, family tree books and websites such as I like to include photographs of the family members if I have any available and I welcome any additional photographs, information, or corrections that may be needed.

I agree that the stone appears to read Thomas so I will check the sexton records at a later date to confirm.

My dates for Maggie have to be incorrect if she is the daughter of John and Hester Petty. I have changed these dates to the 1800's and will verify at a later date with the sexton records. Also, by using the Illinois State Marriage Archives, I found Mattie's maiden name and Minnie's full name, as well as, their respective marriage dates.

My oldest daughter graduated in Dec from Auburn with her RN. Two days later she started a job as a pediatric orthopedic nurse in the hospital near her in Dothan, Alabama. She is sweating taking her boards also. Her husband is a disabled vet and he gave her his GI Bill to go to school on!

I'm just starting entering the information I have on the Warners.
I need to go back and put in the full dates that I have.
Let me know what you are looking for and I will see if I have it.

Effee Petty
I corrected the spelling of Effee's name in John's obit. To change the name in her memorial, you would need to contact that contributor. Thanks for providing all this info.
