I started working on my family's genealogy|
several years ago. I currently live in New Hampshire and my roots are primarily in New England and New Brunswick, Canada. Among the family surnames I am researching are Dunton, Borey, Finch, Whittemore and LaFountain.
For as long as I can remember, I have always enjoyed visiting cemeteries. I find them very peaceful and a wonderful break from life's daily stresses. My husband and I like to take one cemetery at a time and photogragh all the head stones there. I then set up memorials for those who do not have one and try to research that person to find who they were.
Transfer requests outside of the guidelines will be decided on a case by case basis. When requesting a transfer please state what the relationship is. Just saying they are family is not sufficient. I will check your profile prior to transfer to make sure you aren't just a collector, but are a contributing member. If you want to collect family, you can use a virtual cemetery for that purpose.
I will try to make all edits, corrections and links in a timely manner. Please send all requests as a correction using the edit tab and allow a few days for me to do them. When requesting a link, please provide the correct memorial number.
I will not make any links when the final disposition is not known. If you do not know the final dispostion, you should not be creating a memorial. This is a grave registration site, not a place to build your family tree. A memorial with a correct known burial location will always take preference over a burial unknown.
I spend a lot of time traveling, photographing, editing and posting my photos because I love doing it. It also gives me a lot of satisfaction if I can help others find their family. I do not mind if you use the photos for personal use, but please give credit.

Hi Ruby - thank you so much for letting me know about the duplicate memorial. I deleted the original with the mis-spelled last name, so the flower on the 2nd one won't be lost. I appreciate you catching this. -Deb

Hi Rudy, Thank you very much. :-) As you noted, the family might have changed their mind after ordering the stone or they may have simply put down the wrong name for the cemetery. :-)

drop me an email, I'm pretty sure you're related to my husband's family.
Was wondering how you were related to the Finch side. I am researching the Finch's of Campobello.
