I started working on my family's genealogy|
several years ago. I currently live in New Hampshire and my roots are primarily in New England and New Brunswick, Canada. Among the family surnames I am researching are Dunton, Borey, Finch, Whittemore, Derby and LaFountain.
For as long as I can remember, I have always enjoyed visiting cemeteries. I find them very peaceful and a wonderful break from life's daily stresses.
Transfer requests outside of the guidelines will be decided on a case by case basis. When requesting a transfer please state what the relationship is to you. Just saying they are family is not sufficient. I will check your profile prior to transfer to make sure you aren't just a collector, but are a contributing member. If you want to collect family, you can use a virtual cemetery for that purpose. I would also like to add that asking nicely will go much farther than rude demands.
Please send all requests for corrections, links, bios and transfers using the edit tab on the memorial. Please do not leave them on my messages as they will be ignored. The edit tab makes it much easier and there is less chance of mistakes.
If I have a question regarding a correction you send and you have your messages and email turned off, I will not make the correction. It is very hard to have a one way conversation.
I will not make any links to a burial unknown. This site is named Find A Grave for a reason. If you do not know the final disposition, you should not be creating a memorial just to link family members. There are other sites available for building your family tree.
I spend a lot of time traveling, photographing, editing and posting my photos because I love doing it. It also gives me a lot of satisfaction if I can help others find their family. I do not mind if you use the photos for personal use, but please give credit.

Hello, I was wondering if it'd be possible to transfer Daniel Benjamin's memorial to me (111148734)? Daniel is my 4 great grandfather. Currently, I am trying to link Daniel and his wife, Rachel, to their daughter, Louisa Rachel. However, all 3 memorial are managed by 3 different people. Sincerely, Lindsay

Thank you, and thank you for not accepting my Edit. I realized my mistake a bit later.

She married again after William Crowell to John Davis Wright. Her surname should be Wright. The marriage is indexed under 2:294 (Ashby),23:278 (Hingham). There is also a marriage notice in the Fitchburg Sentinel, dated 1 Dec 1922, pg. 16, giving the date of November 30, 1922. The notice gives the place of marriage as occurring in Ashby. She died in Fitchburg in 1960 with the surname Wright. Again, indexed under Massachusetts, Death Index, 1901-1980 49:101.
It's interesting to note that John D. Wright was boarding in William Crowell's household during the 1910 census.
I've been searching for John's place of burial, which led me on this merry little chase!

Thank you for following thru and correcting the family link, I have updated his memorial.

Hi there - thank you for being cautious about linking people. Evelyn Lancy's obituary does not list her first family at all. I've found in some families, things happen and obituaries reflect the sentiments of who wrote them, and people are left out or histories are changed.
This Lancy family is second cousins of mine, and I've done a lot of research on them. I have a copy of Evelyn Lancy and Authur Delbert Buckley's wedding record, which lists her parents for confirmation, as well as Wendell's Social Security death record which lists Authur Buckley and Evelyn Lancy as his parents. I would be glad to send these documents to you. You may contact me via my email for them.
|Janice Olsen||Belcher T Torrey|
I started to fill in birth and death dates and realized that Belcher T Torrey is supposed to be Belcher T Howard. There is no Belcher T Torrey with these dates.
|Robert Hodsdon||regarding a photo you took|

Hodgdon stone in mount pleasant cemetery in eliott maine did you happen to take the front of the stone which would say hodgdon? you just posted the back and I would like the front as well. could you please take the front of it as well as any markers of it and post that for me.
