Hazel Dobson Brown
Shelia
I received a notice that you accepted my change to the birth record of my Great Aunt Hazel Dobson Brown but her birth date and place was not changed. So I up loaded the State of Michigan Return of Births showing Hazel was born 3/20/1899 in Blumfield now called Blumfield Corners. Since you now have proof, would you please allow the edit changes that I made, again. Thank you

RE: Yankee memorials in Taymouth Twp Michigan
I don't know if you have ever seen this but I found it informative. I also found out that when he married it was in a small village near Aberdeen called Drumblade.

At ten o'clock on the morning of March 22, 1887, David . Ross, father of County Treasurer Arthur Ross, and a pioneer of Saginaw county, died at his home in Taymouth, where he had lived since 1844, of old age. The deceased was born in Aberdeen, Scotland, in 1803. He came to this country in 1843, and in 1844 located on a farm in Taymouth, where he has since lived. Several years ago the management of the farm was passed over to his son Arthur, and when Mr. Ross removed to Saginaw City to assume the duties of county treasurer, his son, David D. Ross, Jr.. took the farm, and it was at his home that Mr. Ross died. He had been a prominent citizen of his town and county for forty three years. He served on the board of supervisors for sixteen years, commencing in 1848. He was one of the founders and for years an elder in the Presbyterian church of Taymouth. He leaves six children. Arthur. David and James Ross. Mrs. Cuthbertson and Mrs. Difin, of this county, and Mrs. P. M. Angus, of Arenac county.

RE: Yankee memorials in Taymouth Twp Michigan
Hi,
I hadn't been on my grave site for a while. I was just wondering how we are related. Lydia Ross Yankee was my G Grandmother. Her daughter,
Mary Ann Yankee was my father's mother.

Hazel Dobson Brown
Hi
I am the great niece of Hazel and have the family records. For a long time we have known that Hazel's birthday was March 20,1899. But only had proof of it by word of mouth and what was written down many many years ago. But now we have proof from the State of Michigan, Saginaw County Return of Births. Hazel was born 3/20/1899 in Blumfield now called Blumfield Corners on this website. Please allow the change.

thank you so very much!!

Earl McLearn
Hi, Sheila. I added Mr. McLearn's memorial into the wrong Lutheran Cemetery when I made it. I saw that you found it and photographed it in the correct cemetery. Would you please take the time to take the information from the memorial that I added for him, which is 93612110, and add it to your memorial for him with the picture, which is 94171642. I do not have messages activated on my page. When you have done this, please SAC my memorial and I will delete it. I think it would be easier this way, rather than sending you many different SACs. Thank you.
