I am a hooked family researcher and always looking for an excuse for a road-trip so keep those photo requests coming through.|
Regarding any photos I post, you are welcome to use them for your family research or for other personal purposes without needing to ask permission.
The only ask is that if you use one, you try to contribute three more.
Also, if you would like to manage any of the memorials I have added, please ask. In most cases I will be happy to oblige.
Happy hunting and keep the dream alive.

|Gillian Ross||photo request for Leslie William Emery and Sarah Emery|
I have finally contacted Purewa Cemetery after traipsing around trying to find the Emery plot with no success, and they have confirmed the plot is unmarked and its location so I have added a photo of the plot. On the photo request you had made a note that Sarahs husband William might be buried there also. I can confirm he is. Regards, Gillian.
|Les Davidson||Re: Memorial for Henry Lancelot Clifford|
I am researching my family tree and came across the Memorial you created For Henry Lancelot Clifford and his wife Hazel Hilda Mavis Clifford nee Marsland, Henry was my second cousin 1 x removed.
Would it be possible to transfer management of the memorial of Henry and his wife to me. I will then be able to link him to the memorial that I have created for his father.
Thank you for the photo's you have taken.

Thang for the transfer .

My Partner is Stephen Dixon, he has relative buried in the Cheltenham Cemetery, Charles and Ivy Dixon, I have got their headstone photo, he also has Arthur Dixon who died 1937 there, but don't have a photo of his headstone, would love it if you would be able to upload one and any other Dixon headstones in the cemetery would be fantastic. He is also after his 2nd Great Gran Father buried in west terrace James Dixon, died 1915 and Ada who died 1918, that he would love to get a photo of..If you could help, he would be very grateful..

Sure, I understand. You manage a LOT of memorials!
If you don't want any of the ones I wrote you about, you can send them over if you want and I will add to them.
I don't even remember all of them now though, so it's most probably too much of a pain to deal with for you. I didn't record the memorial numbers. :(
Just in case, my Find-a-Grave id is #48099132
Whatever you decide...

Hi, Thanks for your reply. I am just new to this site and didn't realize that clicking on the photo brought up extra info submitted. I expected it to show on the main page, so I'm sorry I posted you about adding the missing headstone text. I have learned something now!
Oh, and no need to transfer the memorial over. I'm happy for you to look after it if you like. :-)

Quite some time has passed since I helped you with a headstone picture, obituaries plus potential addresses for U.S. relatives. Did the addresses pay off? In the meantime, I want to alert you of a really neat website which seems to replace the now defunct Random Acts of Genealogical Kindness. The new one is called Gen Gathering http://www.gengathering.com/. I plan to volunteer eventually but, with summer in full swing right now, I doubt I'd have time right now.

You are very welcome, glad I was able to find it.
