THERE IS NO NEED TO BE RUDE TO VOLUNTEERS!!!!

This new system to edit basic information is causing confusion: Click on your contributor Tools, then click on the Edits Tab at the top and you will find suggested edits to your memorials. Please check this periodically to make sure all edits get processed.

Please if you add a pic to one of my pages, please add the information through the edit correction.

PATIENCES IS A VIRTUE. Please be patient as I am doing corrections as fast as I can. Due to some unforseen health issues in my family, corrections just might take more than a few days. BUT, FAG rules allows for 30 days if I am not mistaken. Thanks in advance.

Researching my family line of Johnson. Just starting out so looking all over and every angle.

Currently working on Eastview Cemetery, Vernon, Wilbarger, TX project. Please be patient as it is a work in progress.

If I have made a memorial for your loved one, I am more than likely willing to transfer them to you. PLEASE GO BY FIND A GRAVE RULES ON ASKING FOR A TRANSFER.

"How do I get a relative's memorial transferred to me? First, Determine if you really need the memorial transferred to you for management. Transferring of management should only be requested If you have extensive changes to make to a memorial. You can add photos and suggest corrections without having to request management. Simply having someone in your family tree is not grounds for a management transfer request. With hundreds of thousands of contributors, we have many overlapping family trees and it would be impossible for all contributors to manage their entire tree. Second, Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren." I do not appreciate transferring a memorial just to find out you deleted it and started a new

I will gladly add your information to the memorial to update it. PLEASE SEND YOUR MEMBER # WHEN ASKING FOR TRANSFERS!!!!!

RE: Leland and Vista Short
Kristal,

I believe the Acker's were on Vista's side of the family and I's researching the Short family line.

Thanks again.

Kristal,

Thank you for photographing the headstone of my greatgrandparents. I am in Arizona and may never get to Oklahoma but I can add this photo to our family tree!

Warm regards,

Walter V Collier Photo Request
Kristal,

I cannot thank you enough for locating and taking the photo of my grandfather's grave maker for me. He was somewhat of a vagabond and passed when I was quite young so I never really got to know him, but always heard stories about him.

I immediately shared the photo on Facebook so my family can also enjoy it and see where part of their legacy is resting (hopefully in peace and knowing he has not been forgotten!)

Again, a warm and heartfelt "THANK YOU" for helping me remote view one of my ancestor's final resting places.

William "Bill" Clark
Kristal,
Thanks for taking pics of both of Bill's stones. It's always nice to see the headstone of the person and their spouse, but also their individual stone, especially if it's a military stone. That stone gives so much more info about the person that the requester (me!) may not have known (I didn't!).
I appreciate you doing this for me and helping me find out more about my ancestor.

John H & Murl (Baker) Smith pix
OK, I linked her to her father, Caswell Baker, and recorded the marriage info you sent. Also, added bio blurb... of fond memories when I visited John & Murl in 1960 while attending Okla. State U. They were my mother's aunt & uncle. Thanks again - you're an angel!

Thanks so much for the photo of cousin M.B. and his wife Viola's gravestone. Volunteers from Find-a-Grave do wonderful work - and it adds so much for families tracing lost ones. Deen Braly - Find A Grave ID #47610288.
