I'm a retired chemical engineer living in the Houston area, though my wife and I grew up in Austin, Texas. We are researching the branches of our family that spread from Central Texas to East Texas, over to Alabama, Georgia, and all the way up to Ohio. We have found this site to be extremely helpful to us, and we hope that we will add information that will be of help to others.|
We have been searching Texas and Ohio cemeteries for Cox, Whitt, Koos, Blower, Stewart, Davis, Cherry, Hubbard, Zimmer, Miller, Watson, Cross, Hurley, Locke, and Braly, but in the process of looking for our relatives, we have been taking additional photographs, especially in cemeteries where not many photos are available. You may use any of our headstone photos without asking our permission; however, we would appreciate receiving credit for our photo. Please do NOT lift our personal, family photos for use on another site, including Ancestry.com. This is a copyright violation, and you know better!
If we manage a memorial for your relative, and it is not someone related to us, we will be more than happy to transfer the management to you. Unlike some contributors, we usually do transfer non-direct relatives such as cousins, aunts and uncles.

PLEASE USE THE EDIT BUTTON TO REQUEST TRANSFERS.
We do NOT transfer these family names: Blower, Cox, Cross, Gazell, Hubbard, Miller, Watson or Zimmer.

Okay, thank you so much. I would love to be able to have her memorial transferred to me. She is getting a permanent marker within the next few weeks, so I will definitely be sure to let you know so that you can do that.
Also, since you said you believe family members should have memorials, is there any way possible I would be able to get hers along with Walter E Mann Sr & Jr, Harold Dean Mann, Leroy Mann, and Cora Mae Mann, as they are family as well.

Hello tex native. I will say that while researching your ancestry, you run across perhaps a birth , marriage, or death certificates and if lucky, an occasional photo or two. Some of the people who have memorials share common ancestors! It's a help to others if this kind of info. is posted, appropriately in the correct place of course. I commend you for your efforts here at Find A Grave.
