RE: Campbell Ince
It is catacornered across from the Melvin Baptist Chuch which faces South Noyes. I drive by it every Sunday. It is really right in the middle of town.

RE: Melvin Cemetery
I went to the Tax Appraisal District office in Brady and the address is 324 W.Live Oak. They are also on line so you should be able to see the property on their website. The property currently belongs to a Sandra A. DeAmour, 300 West Live Oak, Melvin, Texas Mailing address P. O. Box 764, Melvin, Texas 76858. She might know the history. If you find out, let me know!!

Thanks

Campbell and Rachel Ince
I recently added information for this couple to FindaGrave and they corrected the site to show the correct burial place. They are buried in a small cemetery in the middle of Melvin, Texas across the street from the Melvin Baptist Church. I am still trying to find out the name of this small cemetery but for the time being have named it City of Melvin, corner of S. Noyes Ave. and West Liveoak. Just thought you might like to know that they are not unmarked in the big cemetery, just in a different one.

RE: Campbell Ince
No trick really. It is right in the middle of town. Surrounded by houses and across the street from the Melvin Baptist Church. I just happened to take the pictures one Sunday before Church. I recently moved to Melvin and have always been interested in cemeteries. I came home and did an ancestry search for some of the folks and did not get any hits. I later had to do something for the Melvin Cemetery Association and saw that there were three requests. It was just blind dumb luck!!! So glad to be able to find them for you.
No one has been able to tell me the name of the cemetery or what it might have been attached to for it to be in the middle of town. I think they had some flu epidemics in the 1910s and 1920s so they may just have buried them where they lived. I am still trying to find out the name. I made up the one that I used so I could get the request to you.

Wanda M.
Alabama Blackshear's mother
eflorey@sbcglobal.net says you have linked her step mother as her mother. If you have proof or questions please contact Edward and see if he is right. Since I do not know anything about the family personally I would appreciate you consulting with him.
Thank you
