I don't transfer to memorial collectors!! If that is you, don't expect a response!!|
!!! MAKE ALL SUGGESTIONS AND REQUESTS USING THE EDIT BUTTON !!!
I found a statement about links that perfectly expresses my own beliefs. I'm posting it with permission.
Let's help the next family member or researcher that visits a memorial by adding all the family links that we know. When family members are not linked, it makes the next person do the research all over again. Also, if we have the information, let's use it before it is forgotten.
I also believe that family links make this site easier to use. The easier it is to use, the more it will be used and the better it will get.

|kathy||Ina Sapp/Turkey Creek Cemetery|
I noticed you have Ina Sapp listed under Turkey Creek Cemetery. My name is Kathryn Minks and Ina/Nina was my aunt, Hope what i tell you makes sense cause our family is some what baffled.Ina had a twins Nina, it was Nina Fay who died on Nov. 2,1928, not Ina May and buried in Turkey Creek. Her remains were later moved and buried next to their father Herman Sapp in Feaster Cemetery in Benton Co Mo. I know her death record has her name as Ina and buried in Turkey Creek, The only thing we can think of is grandpa Herman was confused when giving out info at the time of her death. Ina May did not died until Nov.2 2004 and you can find her under Mt Carmel Cemetery in Saline Co Mo. She is listed as Ina May (Sapp) Breshears. I am hoping you would delete Ina Sapp from Turkey Creek, i have been ask by so many why she is listed there.
You also have a Elizabeth (Bettie) Sapp wife of W. H. Sapp buried in Turkey Creek but her headstone sets in Schaeffer Cemetery in Benton Co. Lined in the row in front of Bettie lays i beleive 7 small stones they were children of Wm and Bettie Sapp. #16567925

You may assume whatever you want. Go ahead and get in your car and go see just how "close" they are to one another. These are stones spread around an over grown field that, until this year, was a lost and forgotten cemetery. There are many unmarked burials there as well, therefore I chose to post EVERYTHING there to try and be helpful. If you just want to be a rude, grumpy old man instead of trying to be helpful then please just leave me alone.

I'm not sure specifically what you are referring to but if it was a picture then I post any picture I take of the grave site. If it is a memorial I added then it is because that was the ONLY marker to identify that someone was buried there and that may be the ONLY link someone has to finding the loved one they are looking for. Sorry if it offends you, I try to be thorough for the sake of anyone looking at a specific memorial.

I am wondering if there is anymore information on Infant O'Roke buried in the Onaga Cemetery.
I know that it's a long shot, I just have to ask. The O'Roke family is my area of focus.
Off the top of my head I can't think of any of the O'Rokes that were in Onaga area, but they did move around.
If you can point me in a direction to find the child's date of birth and parentage, I would greatly appreciate your help.
Thanks so much,

Thank you for your volunteerism here at FindAGrave. I do appreciate your careful observation of the Find A Grave policies, even when you are faced with a relative asking you to bend them. It's just hard to appreciate that as much when I'm the relative who wants them bent! ;-)

This is an unusual situation in that her last LEGAL name and the name that is on her death certificate is not the name on the headstone. This was out of consideration to her children. The FAQs are written with the assumption that the name on the headstone was the legal name at the time of death. However, this is not the case with Opal's headstone. Are you completely unwilling to make this edit? WHY?! Are you related to them? (I am.)

|EveyBl||Opal Stockton House PARK - #90234976|
Hello, I saw that you rejected my edit request regarding Opal's name. Aunt Opal's first husband (John G. House) died in 1966; Uncle Woody's first wife (Marjorie Adell Etherton) died in 1967. They were married a very long time, but they both decided to be buried with their first spouses. Folks who are still alive and want to visit her memorial may only know Aunt Opal by her last legal surname, which was PARK. It is appropriate that her name be edited to reflect this long and happy union. Thank you.
