William and Frances O'Daniel of Stafford County, Province of Virginia, are my fifth great-grandparents. In the early 1700s, they lived on Accotink Creek in that part of Stafford which became Prince William and then Fairfax County in 1741.
Brick wall: Who were his parents? What was his wife's maiden name?

I have been proactively researching my family's paternal and maternal family lines for over 20 years. Family lines include O'Daniel, Daniell, Daniel, Daniels, Baker, Burgess, Butts, Cannon, Casady, Clements, Cook, Cooke, Ditmore, Herlihy, Pearson, Raiford, Rice, Rowan, Swanson, and many more.

I will happily transfer memorials to direct line descendants or to family members more closely related to individuals than I am. Edits and additions to memorials are appreciated.

Charles Raymond Garner
Hi --

I got your edit to change the birthplace for Raymond Garner from Fairfax Station, Fairfax Co. (as stated on the death certificate) to just Fairfax Co.

So does that mean that you think the death record info for his birthplace as the village of of Fairfax Station is incorrect? I just want to make sure I understand what you want.

thanks, judi mcg

I think you need to contact her, I don't think I can change anything

S. Jane Rice
I've found discrepancies with the information for S. Jane. Her maiden name is listed as Peek but this is incorrect. Her maiden name was McIntosh. John W. Rice was married to her sister Henrietta McIntosh Rice. 1880 Census records show her as living with John and Henrietta as well as their children. After Henrietta's death John W. Rice married S. Jane McIntosh as shown in court records on April 12, 1894. S. Jane as well as John W.'s Age coincide with information from the 1880 census.

Information on S. Jane McIntosh Rice
Birth: 10 Mar 1846 - Thomas County (Thomas)
Death: 10 Mar 1911
Parents: John Anderson McIntosh, Mary Ann Martha Irvine

Pam Miller
Mary Ann Burgess Baker
Hello Robert,

My name is Pam Miller. I am researching my family history and was so happy to see the research you have done and posted here on Mary Ann Burgess Baker. I see that she was your great-grandmother and I wanted to let you know that she was my 2nd great-grandmother. Through Jordan Wesley Baker, Manor Iverson Baker, Kenneth Clyde Baker and me! I am very interested in furthering my research into the Baker and Burgess side of the family. Have you researched the Bakers any further back than Osborne Baker? Thank you so much for your hard work in researching these families. Your generosity is very much appreciate.

Cousin to Cosby Dawson Smith b.1895
I was reviewing a memorial of my great great uncle Cosby Dawson Smith, and noticed a comment by you that intrigued me. You said "Rest in peace cousin" I was just curious as to your exact relation to Cosby, to determine how you and I are related? I am the Great Grandson of Cosby's oldest sister Martha Walton Smith.

Hi Robert thanks for the email. In a round about way I am related to Irene Deer Thompson. She's a niece of a great aunt of mine.. who I am searching for. I haven't explored that side of her Thompson yet but since I am finding alot of my relatives are from the same place and married to one or another, something like i'm my own grandma? LOL. Sure I'd like the transfer please, thanks so much for your time!!
Have a great day!
sincerely Karyn
