|I believe that genealogy is made much easier by the common efforts of many.|
I am in the Dallas Metroplex and have spent much time in the local cemeteries. You will also find that I travel to Missouri, Tennessee, Oklahoma or other locations in search of kinfolk.
If you are connected to any of the families in my virtual cemeteries, I would love to hear from you.
This is a labor of love. Photographs confirm information but the labor of those that enter from obits and those that enter personal family information will prove to be invaluable to those that come after us.
If you have any additional information to share on any of the memorials that I have set up, I will be happy to enter your information or link to other memorials.
I am especially interested in older pictures that show life as it was. If you have more than 1 or 2 pictures of this type, let me know. We can place any number of pictures (within reason) on the internet for all to see.
As hard as I try not to, from time to time I do make mistakes. If you do see a mistake, please bring it to my attention politely. I tend to ignore rude and/or ignorant folks or those that think the world revolves about them.
Corrections and additions to memorials are made much easier if you use the "Edit" tab on the memorial. Personal correspondence may be by way of my email. I may be a bit slow in responding to emails if I am out of town at the time.
If you find that you have received information that is helpful, please check the offerings of the various advertisers, from time to time on any web site that may have benefited you.
Most of all, enjoy the history of your kin folk.
2-22-2016. It has come to my attention that Ancestry.com has purchased findagrave.com effective September, 2013. I do not approve of any charges being made for any information or pictures that I have posted on findagrave.com It is my understanding that findagrave.com will remain a FREE SERVICE on the internet. Should this change, I will attempt to delete any and all posts, pictures, and information of any type that I have posted and will engage legal assistance to address any other matters!
All the information posted freely by thousands of volunteers can now be seen on Ancestry (for a price) but the data on Ancestry cannot be seen by the volunteers on findagrave.com
Individuals may feel free to use any of the photographs or information that I have posted on findagrave.com This does NOT apply to commercial ventures.

Thanks for the transfer. I found your submissions on FindAGrave and that led me to request records from Buckner's Children's home. Now I know where my grandmother's siblings are. Thank you so much.

James, Thank you for your work in this cemetery. My 3g grandfather, Fleming Bolling Evens is buried here. My problem is I can't locate this cemetery on Google Maps using the name of the cemetery as listed. Do you have a Latitude & Longitude in your info or is it listed under a AKA? Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated.

I am an Ellis descendant and just saw your wonderful photo of Lawrence Statler Memorial #16347147. Is the lady in the photo his wife, Blanche Ellen Ellis? She is my 1st cousin 1x removed and I just wonder if this is she. Do you know where her parents are buried?
Thanks for your help and for all your work on Find A Grave,

Would you please transfer this memorial to me. I am the second cousin, once removed. I have added a photo to the memorial that I found in my mother's ancestry research after she passed, and I would like to add the additional information I have on the family. I have become the guardian of the records, and want to make sure they survive to the next generation by putting them in as many public locations as possible. Thank you for all your work.

These graves I entered many years ago from my families cemetery on the property that once belonged to my G-G-Great grand parents Samuel Milton Robertson & Catherine Melvina Burk Robertson. Note this information was entered in 2003 & your article happened years later as did your entry. I fought for years to have this cemetery declared historical. I went in 2003 with my parents & now deceased Bob Meynig & weed whacked & tried to clean it up to take these photos & get this information. The man that owned the property was very nice. We need to see if the findagrave site can combine our information/efforts. As this information was here from 2003 & the cemetery should be Kates/Patton/Robertson Cemetery. It is the same cemetery on the corner of Bob Rd.
Hi. I came across your information while doing research on Ancestry. I saw in your profile you'd like to hear from people tied to your virtual cemeteries. I link to Bollingers via my Hawn/Hawn maternal line. My maternal line also crosses with Schells, Younts, and so many from Southeast Missouri and back to North Carolina. I don't have any information passed down through my family, and only have information I've found on Ancestry and Find A Grave. I like to support other genealogists so I thought I'd respond to your request. If you think I can help or collaborate, please do let me know. Regards, Alan Atwood
