I have often been told that I am a rather odd sort for enjoying spending time at cemeteries. I enjoy doing this because I am interested in preserving our past and I believe cemeteries are definitely a starting place.|
At this time, I would also like to express that my involvement with Find A Grave is NEVER to upset anyone. It is purely to be able to provide a place for us to honor those we love and provide information for those who are trying to find their family, friends and loved ones. If I have entered someone you wish not be part of Find A Grave, I will gladly remove them as soon as I get a chance.
I do manage a number of memorials on this website and I have no problem transferring those individuals to family or friends who will do a better job providing the loving care they deserve. I look at Find A Graves "guidelines" as suggestions, not the all end of all rules and the world is going to end if we do not follow them.
On that note, I would also like to let everyone know that I work a full-time job and Find A Gave is a hobby for me. I am trying to do my best to keep up with all of the emails and information sent to me. Unfortunatly, I am not doing a very good job. If you have sent a request or information to me in the past and I have not responded to you, I kindly ask you send the request to me again.
I hope I have not offended anyone and everyone realizes I enjoy participating in this forum to honor our families, friends, and our past.

|firstname.lastname@example.org||Permission to use image in a book|
Do you have an email address for contact? I would like to request your permission to use some of your gravestone images in a book. Thank you.
I see that you have created a memorial for Freeland Sheldon in Bayo Meto Cemetery memorial # 20964074. However, he is buried at Mulberry Cemetery in England, Arkansas memorial #71204639. I had requested a photo and a volunteer was unable to find a marker in Bayo Meto Cemetery. Unless you think this is a different person with the same name, I am requesting that you remove this memorial as it appears to be a error. Thank you,

|Cindy Womble Billman||Memorial #6608231|
Thanks for letting me know that this was a duplicate but you will need to contact the person that duplicated my memorial to delete theirs - mine was posted a year before this person duplicated mine.

Request additions and changes to the above subject:
Please add middle name Albert
Please link to his mother Mary Jane Abernathy Hice
Memorial # 94206149
I noticed you had left flowers on Find A Grave Memorial# 16574181 for Barbara Ann Pinkston. I was wondering if you knew how she was related to the other Pinkston's in the same cemetery (perhaps a child of Walter L. Pinkston, Find A Grave Memorial# 16574184?). Any information you might have is appreciated.
|Gloria Reck||Birdie Mae Fielder McKenzie|
I'm so sorry, I made a mistake on Birdie's maiden name. The family I found for her turned out to be African American! So please disregard my prior message. I should stop trying to do genealogy at 3am!! Thank you for bearing with me.
|Cyndi Wiseman||Sandra Kay Kellar and Mary Ann Kellar|
Thank you so much for the links to the parents' memorials for Sandra Kay Kellar (#63450512) and Mary Ann Kellar (#63450511). I have updated their memorials.
|Gloria Reck||Birdie Mae Fielder McKenzie|
Dixie Cemetery, Whitesboro, Grayson Co. TX. You indicate her maiden name is Fielder, but your source of this name is not given. Various trees on Ancestry.com as well as census records indicate her maiden name was Birdie Mae Huff; on the 1910 census she is age 8 as a cousin in household of Thomas Huff. Also, as mentioned, several trees on Ancestry.com all indicate Huff as her maiden name. Perhaps you can clarify? Or perhaps you can change her maiden name to Huff. She was obviously married to a man named Marshall and had a child Doris Marshall, prior to marrying Jesse McKenzie. Gloria Reck (Lindsey Lineage and Allied Families public tree on Ancestry.com). Thanks for your efforts!
|Sally McGinnis||Jane A Lane Boyd|
Jane Adelaide Laney Boyd is the proper name for this marker. Her maiden name was LANEY not Lane. Jane was the wife of John Hamilton Boyd. Jane was the daughter of John Ambrose Laney who is buried in the Bethel Cemetery in Clover, SC where Jane's husband is buried. She is my ggg grandmother.
|Lisa||Brinlee Photo Use|
I am working on a site for the Stoney Point - Brinlee Cemetery Association, a non-profit dedicated to maintaining both cemeteries.
Would I be able to include the photos you submitted to Findagrave? If so, how would like to be cited? (name only or name with contact information?)
