My wife Carol and I have been working on our family histories for over twenty years; before that my Dad, a grandmother and two great-grandfathers had contributed. We're glad we discovered Find A Grave with its enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers.|
We've done most of our cemetery searching in Lackawanna, Luzerne, Pike, Susquehanna, Wayne and Wyoming Counties in PA; Albany, Broome, Columbia, Delaware, Dutchess, Greene and Putnam in NY; Berkshire and Middlesex in MA; Litchfield in CT; and Sheboygan and Washington in WI.

Hi Karl. If you go to http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~palackaw/cemeteries/ProspectHill.html
you'll see a map of the cemetery. The Ritter stones are in block 18.

The information I added was from a document. There is a website on the internet (google "Castlelyons Graveyard") that has some nice photos that may be of interest to you. Apparently the old church was renovated in 1899, but closed in 1960.

I honored your request on the memorial of Clara Sise. When you have extra time let me know if all is correct. IS THIS YOUR ANCESTOR?

Thank you for adding that photo. No edits at this time.

You'd added a photo for Frank Billings #90488982 at Lake Winola Cemetery, Wyoming Co. I just created a memorial for his wife Rhoda E. Billings, who is on that same stone. Would it be possible for you to add this same headstone photo to her memorial #144228174 ?
Thank you in advance for your time.

I am thanking you and your wife Carol for your gifts and passion of doing this research. I found this information just before I traveled to Pennsylvania last month. I went to the cemetery where my great, great grandparents are buried which was part of their farm once and where my great, great grandmother donated the land for the cemetery. I took pictures of their graves and sent them to all of my cousins. It was a real gift to us. Thank you very much.

Oh my... No... : ). ... I think I was trying to connect the parents and went backwards. Thank you so much for your contribution. Are you a descendant?
|Mark Montgomery||RE: Valley View|
You are more than welcome. When you enter the cemetery the road Ts. If you walk straight ahead you'll notice a group of large trees. He is located about 3 to 4 rows before the trees and off to the left.

Thanks for the effort in trying to find his gravestone. Maybe someone can take on that cemetery as a eagle project of something?
