Bio and Links
Bio Photo Ginger & Steve Bollinger are a couple of "packrats" living in Erie County, Pa. We got involved with Find a Grave while doing research for our family trees. While scavenging cemeteries for our information, we noted additional info "just in case!" That additional info finally got added to Find a Grave and we've continued adding records as we continue to search for ourselves. When adding records to the site, we try to include everything from the grave stone…doing our own search, we realize how important everything is to a genealogist.

We have just signed on as volunteer photographers...Ginger does the stats and Steve takes the photos. We live very close to the Mill Village Cemetery, Mill Village, Pa. and the Washington Valley/McLallen Saints Cemetery which is close to Edinboro, Pa. We will attempt to fill all photo requests for these cemeteries. You may use our photos for your own personal use on other sites.

In October 2011, we finished recording and photographing all available gravestones in New Hope Cemetery in Butler County, Pa. As of November 2011, Old Annandale Cemetery in Butler County is finished as well.

If any of our records are "yours", we will be more than happy to transfer them to you if they are not on our particular family trees. Please notify us of any additional mistakes we may have made.

Sorry for my tardiness in thanking you for taking the photo of Myrtle's headstone (and her husband Fred's). You did a great job, and your time and effort are appreciated. Thanks so much.

Katalin Dombi/Sandorne Varga
I believe this is my great grandmother, the translation on her headstone is as follows well as it was given to my brother from Hungarian relatives:

Here lies
Sandor Varga
was
Katalin Dombi
lived 62 years
died 29 March 1909

Though I do not know what the connection is between Bela Varga. The translation of Bela's is:

Here lies
Bela Barga
was born
21 Oct 1909
died
21 Aug 1910
Blessing upon his ashes

If you have other information please contact to me I am working with Ancestry.com and the pieces are starting to come together. Thank you for all you do. Have a Happy & Healthy New Year.

re: James Gearhart
Hello! Hope this finds you both well. I am writing about the photo you have added to the above-named memorial located in Cambridge Upper Cemetery in Crawford County, PA.

I created a handful of Gearhart memorials with photos back in October. Unbeknownst to me, a fellow F-A-G member also created the same memorials but inadvertently placed them in Cambridge Springs Cemetery instead of Cambridge Upper. As I now know, this has become a common mistake and I have notified others when I have found these before making new memorials. However, at the time I created those, I was unaware of this and was searching by the cemetery instead of all of F-A-G. Lesson learned!

Just today another member brought this to my attention. I am in the process of copying all of my photos to the other memorials (which were all created before mine) and then deleting mine. However, for this particular memorial, you were kind enough to add a photo of two headstones.

I am writing now to ask that you kindly copy this photo to the original memorial so I may delete my memorial. I do not want to copy it since I did not take the photo, nor do I want to simply delete my memorial without notifying you since you added a photo.

Please consider "moving" your photo to the other memorial.

Thank you for all you do for Find-A-Grave.

Happy holidays!

Kind regards,
MrsJB
