Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have personally visited all the gravesites where I have added a photo of the gravestone on Find-A-Grave. These photos may be used in your research and transferred at will.

Any added information to the memorials has come from my own personal research or other contributors. Suggestions for corrections or additions are always welcome.

A huge THANK YOU is due those (especially EMILY, JERE, PATTI, and ADAM) who walked, read, catalogued, published books, and/or posted to the county websites long, long before Find-A-Grave was born! They are the true pioneers of cemetery research in our county, and their work makes our contributions much easier.

One of the best rewards of working on Find-A-Grave is the opportunity to work with those contributors who truly care about the loved ones of others and are willing to share the memorials.

When we work together to make the Find-A-Grave memorials as accurate as possible we are honoring the memory of someone's loved ones.

RE: Hancock family
Hello! Yes, by all means, you may copy my photo of your ancestor's gravestone. That's the reason
I volunteer my time when I can--to help others with their geneaology tree. If there are any other Hancock memorial pages in which I am the photographer of the gravestone, you may copy those as well. Have a nice day!

June Harris
Hello, and thank you for your work on Find A Grave! Henry William Burress and wife Clara Mai are my parents. Joseph Henry Burress and Verdie Burress are my grandparents. All of these are buried in Oak Grove Cemetery in Gibson County, TN. Would you please transfer them to my care?

Thank you for the transfers. We have found all of grandpa's siblings except Bettie Hickman Bridges. Grandpa left his home in Tennessee when he was a very young man and came to Texas. He had contact with his brother, Thomas Clyde and his half-sister, Daisy, but none of the others. This is quite an undertaking for us.

Thank you for the photographs and the transfers. I will let you know which others to transfer when I sort it out. This is so interesting.

RE: Lon Crider
Thanks for processing the edits and transfers. Yes, I do think the death cert contains a transcription/reporting error as Census, marriage and other records support Preston Columbus Crider as the correct father's name.
