I will be happy to transfer to you.

I believe it is a Stone for John Latham. My wife and I visited the site in 2004 and could make out his name on the "Rock". Other evidence is that his wife Susan Latham headstone was right next to it, with Kittie Latham Miller (his daughter).
If you look at the picture, you can see the "A" above the "D" in DIED and the "L" is above the "I"; also the "H" in John is above the "D".
Unfortunately the Rock has been destroyed and is no longer there. I am working to get a headstone for his grave.
If you would like to contribute to that effort, let me know.
I've added the obits to the Greive memorials.

Thanks, Skip. Older issues (up to 1926 with plans to go to the early 60s) of the Schulenburg Sticker have been digitized and are online at the Portal to Texas History (managed by the University of North Texas), so I have been going through them a little at a time (usually a few issues a night) looking for the obits.

Thank you for the posting, I too share your feelings about posting all good information. I had sent it once before and don't know why it was not received. I have sent additions to you before and they were always taken care of promptly. I wish others were that good at taking care of business. There are a few that only care about thier "NUMBERS" and could care less that they post information when you send it to them. Thanks Again,

I have seen it spelled most often "Adah"

Thank you for the photo of the headstone of my great aunt Marie Wiesner Zapalac #88917576 and her husband John H. Zapalac #88917691. I had looked for their graves before and missed them. Now that I know what their headstone looks like, I'll be able to find them.
