As far as I'm concerned anyone who wants to use what I've posted is welcome to it. You do not need to ask. Find a Grave has made it possible for me put many of my family members together and find a lot of correct birth and death dates.|
MY PHOTOS ARE NOT JUST MINE THEY ALSO BELONG TO YOU AS THEY ARE YOUR FAMILY MEMBERS.
Happy hunting and good luck with your searches.

|Jon Sanders||RE: Sanders|
There were at least three Sanders clan's in the NE Adair region in the mid-1800'. Henry Sanders and family just north in Taylor County in Cambellsville area down into Casey Creek, Adair, my "James and Mary Ann (Hardwick) 'Casey Creek' Sanders" in the Casey Creek and Pellyton area and your John Sa(u)nders Nancy (Triplett) in the Pellyton and to south Russell creek area.
Not sure if any of the three are related but I did recently do Y-DNA so if others Sander males from these branches do tests we should know. Anyway your Joel and Jane moved to Montgomery Co, IL around 1844 and when Jane died he moved back to KY and married Juliza Holt in 1849.
Joel Jr (son) later moved to Carroll Co, MO where some of my Sanders lived and he died there in 1935 (you can download his death certificate from MO state site). His wife was American Sebastian and they had several children.
While not my Sanders, I've had to at least know who they were at some level to keep the "Mary Sanders" straight between the families. If you want you can send me an email and I can send you some old notes of "not my sanders" that has some starting points for you. There is also a good deal of info on the web although for this family I think it is scattered in pieces and you have to try to correct some of the errors.
Anyway good luck,
