|Carolyn Davis Bonnet||Infant son McFarland|
I am not sure about infant son McFarland being a twin to Virgil Jack. I just copied what was out of the book. I contacted John Christenson to see if he would add the picture of headstone to Infant Son McFarland, as he is named along with his parents and another member on same headstone.
I will transfer his site to you. Hope you can find out what you want to know.
Skip, you did not reply ... did you get the Gregory/Alvis ML I emailed you, or not?

|texnative||Whitts in New Hope Cemetery|
I have looked at the Whitts in New Hope Cemetery and don't have any of them in my tree. The Whitts I am related to came from South Carolina and mostly settled in Georgia. My ggrandmother, Martha Ann Whitt married John Henry Cox and settled in Parker Co, TX. Her brother Colonel Whitt moved to Texas and lived near Wichita Falls. It's possible some of his descendants ended up in central Texas.

I have deleted our duplicate memorial for Jeanette Sidonia Bolten and added the headstone photos to your memorial. Thanks for bringing it to our attention. Have a happy holiday.

Is your personal email address same as one here on Find A Grave? If so, I'll send you a brief email so you'll have my address and we can take this conversation off board. Then I can/will send you copy of the ML.

If I remember correctly, I think I have the ML (marriage license) for Nita and Arthur.

Hi Skip ... so many names, so little time to devote to my own ancestors! I spend most of my time researching others family and let mine slide. Oddly I just recently picked up on Nita again. I still need to add a couple names/burials associated with my Alvis line out in CA.
The surname Alvis is my direct maternal line. My mother was an Alvis.
Who/what are you looking for in particular that pertains to them (or Nita)?

|Dan Vacek||RE: Frank Vacek|
I think it is. Too much of a coincidence to have both born on same date and both buried in the same small cemetery. Like I said, he was my father's brother, I knew him when he was alive, I talked with him within days of his death, I attended his funeral, and have done alot of research on the Vacek family and no other Frank Vacek was found having been born on the same day anywhere near Fayette county. Birth records back then were just handwritten into a book at the county courthouse only after one of the parents went in to report the birth, days or weeks after the birth. Sometimes hand writting is hard to read. I have another ancestor where his birth date is listed as 4 days after he was born. We think they put down the date he was born as being the date it was reported by his mother. Plus, with people speaking mostly Czech and the clerk not knowing the language, that can cause problems, too. I think the records are incorrect.
