|My interest in cemeteries is attributable solely to my genealogy research. After spending so much time in cemeteries looking for my own ancestors, I have truly come to appreciate their hidden beauty & the histories they hold. I am always intrigued by the wide variety of stones and markers I see, and the uniqueness of memorials left.|
I am thrilled to be a part of the Find A Grave family. Finding this website was very significant for me. Not only for my own research, but also for the opportunities it gives me to search cemeteries I would probably not otherwise visit.
I apologize for any delays in responding to messages and update/correction requests. I have been dealing with a family health issue (which, unfortunately, will continue for some time.)
I will process all requests/updates as soon as I can when I have extra time.

Hi Chris, thank you for notifying me of the duplicate memorials for George and Frances. I do check for previous memorials before I add them, so I'm not quite sure how these two got missed. I thought perhaps someone had created the memorials previously but didn't know where they were buried. But I see that is not the case. In any event, I have deleted my memorials. Regards, Nadeen
|Lois Meyer Voeltz||RE: Wilhelm F VOELTZ|
Hi Chris, THANKS for your email. The problems for August Voeltz is that PAUL is listed as a son and he's Wilhelm F C Voeltz Jrs. son. You noted that the person who created the memorials need to change the list of children, correct? How do I get in contact with that person? THANKS so much for your help, Chris.
Hi Bill, My 'kinda relative', Lois Stangohr, has done extensive research and work on the Voeltz family tree. As a result, it has been noticed that there are a couple mistakes on the findagrave.com for Albert Frederick August Voeltz. I hope you can make the corrections.
Albert (1863-1933) married to Ida ANDRES (1862-1946). Not sure where the UNNERS came from.
Anna Marie Ida Backes 1882-1956
Franz (Frank) Frederick August 1889-1906
Wilhelm Ludwig August 1891-1925
Ernest J 1894-1961
Marie August Amelia Stangohr 1895-1942
Ida Wilhamena Maria Larsen 1898-1967
Martha Anna Marie Stangohr 1900-1992
Hedwig (Hattie) Rose Marie Munzke 1904-1987
Paul W. Voeltz is listed but he is Wilhelm Frederick Christian Voeltz Jr's son (so Albert is his uncle.)
If you need to contact me to affirm these corrections, I'd be glad to respond.
Thanks! ~Lois Voeltz
|Lois Meyer Voeltz||Wilhelm F VOELTZ|
Hi Chris, Want to make a correction on the findagrave post for Wihelm F. Voeltz (1874-1936), buried at St. John's Lutheran Church cemetery, Forest, St. Croix, Wisconsin. The names of the children do include a couple of them. Here are the correct names and dates: Married Marie Runge 1870-1956; Ida M.E 1892-1975; Emma A. 1894-1975; Anna Frieda 1895-1972; Paul W. 1896-1965; William F.A 1898-1966; Otto Emil Ernest 1899-1881or2; Frieda 1900-1983; Marie 1902-1902; Meta 1904-1996; Helen 1905-1991; Walter 1906-1976; Carl Otto Emil 1909-1990; Erna 1910-1999.
Walter is my husband's grandfather, Wilhelm F his G-grandfather. I've done extensive family tree research along with other Voeltz family members so these are the correct names and dates. If you'd like to contact me, that would be great: firstname.lastname@example.org Thanks ~Lois Voeltz
|Milissa Casey||Your Stanley Talley Roquette|
I had came across a Talley Roquette at the cemetery today. I had to go home to look in find a grave to see if it was the right one and it was. I'll be going back tomorrow and I'll stop and take a picture of it for you.
|N. Sarring||Hannibal Cemetery|
Would you like to transfer #47222679 Melvin Jesse Iverson to my number #47376641. I have just added his mother to the Hannibal Cemetery. Jesse died at a navy base in Forida doing experimental diving.
You have taken such nice photo's at the cemetery. I live over 220 miles away, so I appreciate all the photo's and your dedication to the cemetery.
|L Eriksson||Cora I Peterson take 2|
Re: my previous message. I just saw in Family search that Nels & Cora were parents of Shirley Stromberg and that Theodore Lee Stromberg is Shirley's husband. If you make memorials for Theodore, Shirley, & Nels and link them, I will add the photos.
|L Eriksson||Cora Peterson photo request|
While taking a photo of her grave in Section 19 Lot 141 Grave 12, the grave #11 next to her is Nels V. Peterson, born 1900, died 1900. He is recorded as the owner of grave 5, 6, 11, & 12. Is he her husband? The stone has no indication of relationship. If you set up a memorial page for him, I will add the photo.
Also, since Nels owned space 5 & 6 - Shirley & Theodore Stromberg may be related to Nels & Cora. The lot card does not say he sold spaces to them for their burials in 2004 & 2011.
|Elaine Pregent||Johnson and Russeth|
I posted the grave of Audrey E Johnson. Her husband Myron H Johnson is buried next to her and her parents on the other side (Robert H Russeth and Anna Russeth). If you are interested and want to create records for these, I can go back and take pictures.
|Valice Raffi||Thank you!|
