My profile would be boring, so I won't bother (you can visit my dad Mitzie the Clown instead) ... and I won't list a bunch of do this and do that's. "Help with Find A Grave" has all that.... assuming you've read them. |
With sand fleas and no-see-ums biting, dodging bee's, garden snakes, and one territorial hawk - armed with a pocket full of batteries - I've swept the dirt, trimmed the grass, blown off the leaves and dug out the forgotten stones. Each one will tell you a story; of love, laughter and sadness.
I take pictures. Lots of pictures. Good ones, bad ones. wyswyg. Am slowly fixin' the really bad ones. Meanwhile you will know that there is a stone. Please forgive me for the flash glare in any Mausoleum photo's. Someday I will figure out how to do it...
You may use MY picture(s) any way you want, with the exception of re-posting them on Find A Grave. It is my gift to you. No further permission is needed, NOR credit given. This applies to MY PHOTO's ONLY. If you feel you must give credit, use my member ID# only - my name is plastered all over the www as it is.
Many contributors have given their time creating memorials for the men and women who lost their lives in service. I would like to bring attention to just this one:
2nd Lieut. Darrell K. Stoyke
Please, take a moment and visit his memorial. If the people of Eyguieres, France can build a memorial in the center of town to honor him, surely you can take a moment and visit his grave. If you have any information on this young man, please contact me. Thank you.
If you've left me a "thank you" - You are very welcome. I really am glad I was able to help you. Now go back to that memorial you were so happy to find and leave a Flower, a Note, some Cheetos. Anything. Show them you care and they are not forgotten.

|Catherine Fields||Caroline Ann Miller|
Thank you for locating and posting a long lost relative of mine, Caroline "Carrie" Miller. Her maiden name was Hammond, she was the daughter of Lewis P. Hammond and Eliza Dorcas Willey. She married John Bickford (1st) and Adam Miller (2nd). (John Bickford was the son of Freeman Bickford.)
I don't know if you are willing to transfer her record to me, but if not, will you correct her parentage for future researchers?
Thank you so much for your efforts in documenting so many of our lost relatives.
|AmericanGirl||RE: Adaline S Root|
I would love to be able to find Adeline's husband, Frederick, but I have not been able to find his date of death yet. The last census that I see for him is 1940, and then nothing. I'm assuming he died in Hennepin County, but can't confirm that. If I find out more, I will definitely update you. Thank you!

Thank you so much, Jaci, for going the extra mile for me to visit Adaine Root. It's disappointing to know that she does not have a headstone, but at least we know where she is, and perhaps one day my family can rectify the missing headstone. Thank you.
Thank you so much for your work and the transfer. it means a lot.

I have left suggested edits for adding Father and Mother to this memorial #99853548
I am Florence's nephew and godson. I am in process of linking all her siblings. If you would like to transfer her memorial to me would be most appreciative.
|Mark Peebles||Ellen Sedate Peebles Ludwig|

Thanks so much for the pictures. I hope to get there this summer, but trying to get them all tied together. Will be in the cemetery with the rest of their kin tomorrow for my mom's funeral. Thanks again. Much appreciated!
