Bio and Links
Bio Photo 5th-generation Oregon Trail Pioneer, Mayflower, Revolution, Civil War, and WWII descendent; 45-year genealogist, champion dog breeder, 15-year BC survivor. Wife, Mother, Granny of 4.

Continuing research on Moore, Loomis, Cooley, Doyle, Matney, Mayben, Zimmerman, Sargent/Sargeant.

I currently list only memorials for those I'm related to, but if I've listed a member of your family in the past, I'll gladly transfer them to your care if I'm not related to them, too. The exception is for those who refuse to share with others in the same way and/or won't post their bios.

Feel free to copy any of my photos for personal use, but if you plan to publish them, please ask for permission and give a word of credit. Thanks for making this one of the best family history sites available, and its FREE.

Cooley, Edwards & Loomis
I added a group picture consisting of the these names to the page of Charles Cooley. I also put in a caption detailing their positions. I will remove it if you would like. Feel free to copy and share on the others pages. I also have another picture you might be interested in. It is a smaller marker that is lying on the ground next to the big grey Cooley one. It looks old and only has the initials J. L. C. on it. Let me know if I can be of any help.

Do you have any information on her mother? I am a descendant of Emma's sister, Ida. Just wondering if you might have any further information in possibly identifying their mother. Thank you!

Re: Elisha Dodson
Hello
Thank you for pointing that out ...not sure how I did that as it was a father and son. Elisha was the father and John was his son.

Thanks again

Greetings,

Find A Grave contributor JMFerguson has made a suggestion to you regarding your Find A Grave memorial for Elisha Dodson.
Link to memorial: http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=146377804
Link to contributor profile: http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=mr&MRid=47015825

Their suggestion:
-------------------------
Please unlink this couple as husband and wife unIess there is proof of their marriage. While not impossible, it seems unlikely that she would be 34 years older than her husband.

-------------------------
Not sure how I did that as they are father and son, thanks for pointing that out.

Mayben family
My husbands grandmother Myrtle Mayben Van Schoiack. We take care of S.B.'s grave each year on Memorial Day. Put flowers on it also. How are you related?

RE: Log Town Cemetry
I can't seem to figure out how to delete those photos. I have done it on memorials, but not for a cemetery. Any suggestions?

I would like to leave the one I took of the plaque as it is easier to read than the other.

RE: Silas Hamilton
Thanks - not related, just researching his family. I've updated his memorial page. Would certainly transfer back to you, if you'd like.

Looks like you accidently posted 2 identical gravestone photos. Please delete one of them.
