I was born and raised in Gonzales, Texas, the "Lexington of Texas," where the first shot in the battle for Texas' independence from Mexico was fired. I moved back here in 1996 after living for years in the Houston area.|
I'm fairly new to genealogy and photographing cemeteries. I am close to Caldwell, Fayette, and Lavaca counties, and most of my people are laid to rest in the various cemeteries in these counties, and, of course, Gonzales County. If any of your peoples' final resting places are in these counties, I will be glad to take a picture; just let me know.

I simply have no words to tell you what your thoughtful and generous photos mean to me. I still love my great grandmother very much. I do remember her, but I did not have very much information. As a teen I did not ask all the right questions. Because of your photos, I was able to find Her first husband and his 3 children at the same cemetery. Also his first wife with great memorials.
You may think that you are simply taking photos, but you were able to make me feel close to her again. I was named after her and her daughter. They were really good Christians. Thanks so very much also for the view of the beautiful flowers all around it made me happy to see such a great setting.
Please know that you are making a difference in people's lives. Best Wishes for you and your's, Jane

Thanks Kelly I'll send you the plot #'s and remove mine.
Thanks for adding Stella Cluiss Cooper. She was a sweet old woman, my beloved (step) great-grandfather's mother. We visited her throughout my childhood. Somewhere I might have a photo to add.

Thanks for letting me know about Joseph's grave, I must have missed that message.
I really do appreciate your help, I live in the UK, so there would be no chance of me visiting the graves, this really is an excellent service.
I'm trying to get in touch with any living descendants, I don't suppose you know of any local societies I could message to ask for help?
Thanks once again.

Thank you so much for finding and photographing my ancestors grave. I am going to pass a copy to my Aunt who would have been their Great Great Niece she will be thrilled to see the photo.
Thank you again.

May I use the headstone photos you have posted for Seidel family members at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Moulton? This is for a simple family record, and not for publication. I will be happy to list you as the photographer.
