I will transfer Ownership rights of any entry I've made- I don't care what your relationship or reason. I'm not related to any of my entries except a very few. My effort is documentation and finding the lost among the stones.|
It might be helpful to others to cite the source of requested updates; But even that omission won't stop the update.
How to Request a TRANSFER
*Note: You must be logged in for this procedure to work:
1. Click on the "EDIT TAB" top right of the entry
2. Click "SUGGEST A CORRECTION...."
3. Type the word "TRANSFER"
That gives me ALL the information I need to make the transfer.
Living in Northern Chester County, Pennsylvania,
"I See Dead People."
I haunt cemeteries for tombstone photos and follow up with obituaries if available at the Chester County Historical Society. Or Vice-Versa, I get the obit then find tombstone.
Let me know where I can help in Chester County, Pennsylvania

Dan, thank for posting the obit image. I don't mind and indeed appreciate the addition. Would you delete the August 27 version? I compared them and I think the only difference in information between it and the "corrected" August 28 version is the change of address for the Cancer Society. The August 28 version is the "corrected" version and includes the photo so I would like to keep that one.

That is the "Foot" stone for people who were in service. The "Head" stone is next to be displayed that's all. Example being Larry Eugene Hardin Memorial# 127102192 But you can move the pictures as you like is fine with me.

Dan, I sent you an email yesterday, but your email must be full. So this is what I wrote:
Before looking at his death certificate closely I decided to look at what date of birth was on his WWI & WWII Draft Registration Docs, which he signed, and the 1900 Census. All 3 clearly stated October as the month of his birth.
I see that there was a correction made on his death certificate, which I pulled up on Ancestry & magnified. The correction clearly states the date of his birth as Oct. At first I thought that the informant may have errored and wondered who Phillip D. Cope was to Charles Swayne. But now I don't need to look any further. All sources stated October.
I still appreciate your help with Find A Grave.

Thanks, Dan. I linked Nellie and William. I'm not related to this family either. I believe they were friends of my great-grandparents. They saved William's obituary and I had added him in case it would be helpful for someone else.

You are correct Dan. I was in error.
You are doing a super job. I am actually helping out a friend search her family.
Thank you for what you have done. It has made it so much easier.
Would you mind telling me how you got the obituaries. I would love to know the site.
