My profile would be boring, so I won't bother (you can visit my dad Mitzie the Clown instead) ... and I won't list a bunch of do this and do that's. "Help with Find A Grave" has all that.... assuming you've read them. |
With sand fleas and no-see-ums biting, dodging bee's, garden snakes, and one territorial hawk, currently up against a serious gaggle of geese (ie: goose poo) - I've swept the dirt, trimmed the grass, blown off the leaves and dug out the forgotten stones. Each one will tell you a story; of love, laughter and sadness.
I take pictures. Lots of pictures. Good ones, bad ones. wyswyg. Am slowly fixin' the really bad ones. Meanwhile you will know that there is a stone.
You may use MY picture(s) any way you want. It is my gift to you. No further permission is needed, NOR credit given. This applies to MY PHOTO's ONLY. If you feel you must give credit, use my member ID# only - my name is plastered all over the www as it is.
Many contributors have given their time creating memorials for the men and women who lost their lives in service. I would like to bring attention to just this one:
2nd Lieut. Darrell K. Stoyke
Please, take a moment and visit his memorial. If the people of Eyguieres, France can build a war memorial in the center of their town to honor him, surely you can take a moment and visit his grave. If you have any information on this young man, please contact me. Thank you.
If you've left me a "thank you" - You are very welcome. I really am glad I was able to help you. Now go back to that memorial you were so happy to find and leave a Flower, a Note, some Cheetos. Anything. Show them you care and they are not forgotten.

I've been looking for them...and there they were! Thank you. I now know that FARRO was somewhere along the way shorten to FARO. Their son Robert (in Ft Snelling) was a Disney artist in the last 40's. They are from Norway and Olaf and my Grandfather Rasmussen were brothers!
I have one question if you can find the obits from the local newpaper for me it would "solve" so many, many more mysteries....Why did almost all of the family wind up with different last names???
I'm including my Indiana phone #574-216-8111. Please call me or leave a message on my Bio page as I can only TELL you my e-address (I don't put it out there in public anymore!!

|bdh||Jerry Anderson Grave|
Hi Jaci, I appreciate you and what you do. I have been looking for a long lost friend and I think he may be the person I've found on this site which whom you have photographed his headstone. His name was Jerry Anderson, born March 14, 1959 and died January 24, 2013. I know this is a long shot but would you be able to get and or post any photo of him or obituary? If not for whatever reason, I do understand. Or if you can find out one thing: Did he have green eyes? If he did, then this is my friend. That's all I want to know. I want to make sure this is him so I can properly mourn him and get closure.
Thank you so much.
