Bio and Links
Bio Photo I'am just an old retired Cowboy:
If there is anyway i can help someone just let me know, I'am a proud born again Christian who Loves Jesus with all my Heart, am willing to talk to anyone about Him, so if you just need to chat we will sit around the camp fire and Chat away, send me a msg.

"Remember the days of old; consider the generations long past." (Deuteronomy 32:7 "

"Speak the Truth in Love" (Ephesians 4:15)

Each one of us should always remember we are working with people's love and emotion, when dealing with their dearly departed- let's work together in kindness and say a Prayer along the way

My simple Prayer:
Oh Lord, I reckon I'm not much.I fail a lot of things You know I ought to do. but when I make my last ride and get life's final call, my only hope will be, For me to hear You say " COME ON MY CHILD IT'S TIME FOR YOU TO RIDE WITH ME'

My Thoughts for the Veterans who died for us:
Tread lightly, This is a soldiers grave, Who fought in a Foreign land,Not afraid when freedom called they raised their hand, Giving their life they were buried in a simple mound; And yet to folks like you and me It should be Honored ground. . .

Here is my motto:
If one lives in the heart's of those they leave behind, With Jesus by their side, then truly they do not die, for they are not lost to memory! And never lost to love! But gone to be with our Father in His house above!

TO ALL CHRISTIANS:
To the broken hearted who are left behind, we extend sympathy. We can only remind you that they are not dead, rather simply asleep-resting after a long and well-spent life here. Though they are gone their record has been made and is written in the Book of Life Which God will Open and read aloud someday, and their memory will remain with you a lasting treasure.

RE: Elizabeth (Pet) Grooms Kitchens
J.B. is my father and is buried at Fairlawn Cemetery in Snyder, next to my mother. His mother, my grandmother, Elizabeth Grooms-Kitchens is buried in an unmarked grave at North Deep Red. My uncle Leonard Kitchens took me to her grave and I visit it every year I go back to OK. If I didn't say so before, I want to thank you for all you do in Find A Grave. Because I am still working, it is very difficult for me to travel and do all the research I would like but because you have done so much, I can't thank you enough. Regards, Kathy Kitchens

Mary Elizabeth Rusk Gregory
There are 2 different memorials for this woman. #112144615 & 113124676. One shows that she is buried in Small Cemetery and the other in Edgewood Cemetery both in Van Zandt County. Both memorials also show a sibling, which in reality is the same person - Mary Elizabeth Rusk Gregory. She was however one of 8 children.

To make a long story short, one of these memorials needs to be deleted and verify exactly where she is buried and correct the issue showing a sibling.

Thank you,
Sally Reynolds

Wells Family
Dear Richard,
Thank you so much for maintaining the memorials for a little family that is dear to my heart. That would be A J Wells (# 43744140) and his little children. Andrew Jackson Wells was my great great grandfather. For years I searched for information about his children and then, quite by accident, I stumbled upon their little graves in the West Bridgeport Cemetery in Wise County Texas a few years ago. It took me some time to fit the pieces together on the history of this family. I sent you a few requests for edits on their memorials. A J's first wife was Mary. She died before 1869 and is buried in the Holly Grove cemetery in Polk, Texas. His second wife was Malinda Whitney Mahaffey. Together AJ and Malinda had 6 children. Only two lived to adulthood. A very close up inspection of these headstones shows that they all say: "Son or daughter of A.J. and M." They were all the children of AJ and his second wife, Malinda. Thank you again for maintaining these memorials and I love the little angels you placed on each memorial. Wishing you a blessed day!!! Anita Wells Andazola

Elizabeth (Pet) Grooms Kitchens
Hi Richard,
Elizabeth Grooms is my grandmother. Did you put the relatives on this grave site? My father was left out, he is J.B. (initials only) Kitchens and was the third child of Harry and Elizabeth Kitchens. Also, Elizabeth is not buried here at Mt. Park Cemetery, she is buried at North Deep Red Cemetery. My uncle Leonard Kitchens, took me out to her grave site. He and my grandfather, Harry, used to go lay flowers at her grave. She has no headstone but I hope to remedy that. I believe we have emailed each other before regarding the Kitchens family, namely my sister, Glenda Kitchens-Wilkins-Niles. You can contact me at genealogyladi@yahoo.com. Regards, Kathy Kitchens

RE: Robert A. Allen, Jessie M. Allen
Thanks a lot for your efforts, I learned a lot from your direction. I probably would have known much more had I known about the memorial for Mary Emma Sims. There is no link to her memorial on Robert's memorial.
Thanks again for the help, I get the feeling you live in Oklahoma from your email address.

No. I'm sorry, I do not. I do know that his wife's name was Therese Patricia Logan Yastic.

Mossy Grove Cemetery, Ezzell Texas
I notice you have done a few Ponton family members memorials here. I am the president of the Ponton Family Reunion. I just found you today on here. If you are related in any way to the Ponton family, we are having a reunion on Saturday at the Schoolhouse at Ezzell. It begins around 9:30 a.m. and we have lunch there. We share family news and history. We are in the process of a cemetery marker cleaning project. I have been to Mossy Grove and surveyed our needs there. We have several markers that need to be repaired or cleaned. Anyway, I digress. Hoping if you are related, you join us. If you aren't related, I thank you for taking the time to create our family memorials. I am just one person and it is an overwhelming task to create them. Thank you!
