A big "Thank You" goes out to everyone who sends any info and links for the memorials I've added. I regret that I cannot thank each of you individually, although with the new Edit system you now get computer-generated acknowledgements that your suggested changes and/or additions have been accepted. |
I got interested in Family History in 2007, and in 2008 and 2009 visited hundreds of my "dead relatives", as my wife so descriptively put it. (I did meet many live ones, too.) Most of the graves I visited were close relatives of my great-grandparents and one great-great-grandmother: their siblings, aunts and grand-aunts, uncles and grand-uncles, and first and second cousins.
My great-grandfathers were:
James McCullough Minteer, Jr.
Joseph Warner Wright
Marsh K. Renshaw
Robert John Woods, Jr.
Feel free to use any of my grave marker photos any way that you want to, as few (if any) of them have any artistic value which might be covered by the intent of the Copyright clause in the Constitution. (Please note, however, that this only applies to photos with my name under them. For any others, you will need to contact the person who added them for their permission to copy and use elsewhere.)

Hope you will accept my suggested updates to this memorial, sent via the edit tab.

That's what I had guessed, but there was an outside chance that you had some other source. We family history buffs are always seeking that little special nugget of info. As it is, though, that little piece of info that you posted about his military service was very helpful. I'm doing a history for a friend. The only info she had on her grandfather was he might have been in the merchant marine in WWI. If he was in the Navy, she might be able to get his service record.
Thanks again for all you do,
Dale Thompson in Dallas

You have her DOD listed as Jul. 14 instead of Jan. 14; which is clearly marked on her headstone. This will justify the age of 90y 10m 3d. Just thought you would like to know. Steven G

Thanks for doing the links so quickly. The Reilly Family thanks you!!!
Thanks Rob... I was hoping that someone was doing photos in that area. I have some gravestones from that family here in Essex, Ontario Canada and would like to have added them etc.
