|I have been on the board for the Pioneer Cemetery Association in Sidney, Montana for several years now. I think it's important to preserve the history of the cemetery, and I've recently updated the burial records and cemetery maps. |
All the known graves in the Pioneer Cemetery (in Sidney, Richland County, Montana) have been entered into this "Find-A-Grave" website.
I keep records of each person buried in the Pioneer Cemetery and have obituaries and additional information available to family members upon request. Please leave a message below or contact me at my email address, and I would be very glad to share the information I have gathered.

Hi Pioneer Nancy:
Could you transfer the pages for Randal Stewart 40163238 and Ruth Jean Stewart 40163239 to me. I just found out about findagrave in March 2014 when my Dad died. I will take responsibility to maintain my parents and grandparents pages.
Randal and Ruth were my maternal grandparents through my mother, Marilyn Ruth Stewart Noyes 54385018 .
Thanks for your work on behalf of so many people.

Hi Nancy! Thanks for your great contributions to genealogy!
I have a question about the above ancestor. I'm hoping you know the history of this guy.
I have records for two men with this name; both born in NY, both moved to Lapeer Co, MI by 1860 - one with his family and one with another couple.
Sylvester M Kelch is listed living with a couple of about the same age and Sylvester Kelch is in the neighboring twp with his family (John Kelch and Betsy Mills).
In 1870, Sylvester is listed in MT with his family: wife Hanna, children Charles, William, Andrew and Valerie.
So I don't think that the Sylvester in MT was in the Civil war because William and Andrew were born while he was fighting or a POW. Am I missing something? Do you know more about this?
Thanks for your help!
