Records indicate Adolph Unterreiner donated his remains to St. Louis University School of Medicine. When the university finishes, they cremate the remains and bury them at Sts. Peter & Paul cemetery in St. Louis. The memorial at Saint Michaels Cemetery is likely a centograph.

|John Riexinger||Riexinger headstone|
Thank you so much for the photo. This means a lot to me. My father was a Grandson of John and Carolina. He was orphaned at the age of 9 and never new much of the Riexinger family. He died in 1992. I am his youngest living daughter and I made up my mind that I would find out as much info as possible so that my Grandchildren would know about their ancestors. Thank you for helping me.
