Bio and Links
Bio Photo I love family history work! What first got me hooked was a cemetery in Louisiana. That cemetery was a gold mine of information! Since then I find myself looking for the cemeteries first thing in hopes of finding tidbits of information that aren't always available anywhere else.

Hopefully we can all help each other in our endeavors to find our family members! I wish you much success in your search for your ancestors.

By the way, I feel family members should have the first choice in maintaining memorials for their own family. I'm glad there are guidelines set up by F.A.G. but think it's a nice offering to give it back to the family. Please just let me know how you are related and I will gladly transfer them to you.

A side note...if you are interested in a transfer or adding information, please use the edit key on the memorial and not the message board. Thanks!

I appreciate you transferring the memorial to me, thus I have more information to post. She would also be my ancestor.

Have a nice holiday weekend!

RE: Gahagans
Thanks. I did not know Bessie had divorced Harrison and remarried. If you know any of the Gahagan family out that way I would love to get in contact with them. I did a book on our line of the Gahagans in America, but could not contact any of Harrison's descendants. If you find their obits I would love to have them on the Find A Grave site.

I found the son's wife and linked them, she was in another cemetery.

Thanks for any help.

Cypress Lawn Memorial Park. Harry and Harrison Gahagan both had wives; do you know if they are buried in Cypress with their husbands. Thanks

Diane, Marjorie Storey is Reuben"s daughter. I would like to connect her to her father and mother. I will put her in Find A grave also and you can delete yours. Thanks for your kindness.

RE: Damish photos
Diane, thanks so much for taking the time to hunt down and photograph the Damishes' monuments. Your photos are fine--I can read the details.
One thing I was hoping to find out was that the parents were buried nearby, so I can tie the Washington family to my family in Illinois. Would you have any suggestions on how to find the final resting places of Frank Leslie Damish (1884-1958) and his wife Ethel Jane (born about 1885)? Through 1940, they lived in Snohomish County, Washington.
Thanks again for your help.

HI Diane,

Yes, Michael, Irene, Donna, Stacey & Steven Furiak are all family of mine. Thank you so much for taking the pics of the stones. If you are willing to release I would definitely appreciate it. Thanks! Jenny
