Bio and Links
Bio Photo I so enjoy family history work. What first got me hooked was a cemetery in Louisiana. That cemetery was a gold mine of information! Since then I find myself looking for the cemeteries first thing in hopes of finding tidbits of information that aren't always available anywhere else.

Hopefully we can all help each other in our endeavors to find our family members! I wish you much success in your search for your ancestors.

By the way, I feel family members should have the first choice in maintaining memorials for their own family. I'm glad there are guidelines set up by F.A.G. but think it's a nice offering to give it back to the family. Please just let me know how you are related and I will gladly transfer them to you.

A side note...if you are interested in a transfer or adding information, please use the edit key on the memorial and not the message board. Thanks!

RE: Your Memorial, #141040618, for Mr Becker
You are welcome. Done it myself after looking but software and our computers/phones seem to get those entries hidden from the entried duplicates we did. Seen it happen to me twice...triple checking the data...and it was still hidden...figure that? Have a great day.

I'm sorry, 141040618 is for Charles H.J. Becker, not Edward. Pardon.
Sorry... I have had "Edward" on the brain, as the phone rang and was completing your message notice.

Thanks.

Your Memorial, #141040618, for Mr Becker
Hi,

I'm sorry. You have produced a duplicate memorial in the Sumner Cemetery in Sumner, WA.

MR. Edward H. J. BECKER (?) is a duplicate entry from one entered back in 2008. Your memorial no. is 141040618.

Please delete your memorial to cut down confusion according to Find A Grave guidlines, with the other entry according to entry date.

We appreciate your enthusiasm to enter memorials.

If you have pertinent information to add to his memorial, by all means add it to the older entry to update and help connect other family members together.

Thanks for your attention in this manner.

Diane,
I gave you incorrect parents on this Alice D. Duncan Nebel. According to her marriage record her father was Samuel Duncan and her mother was Jane Lloyd. Please disconnect from Andrew & Catherine, and I'll head back to trying to find the correct Alice. :( Sorry!

Yes, I was reminded by my cousin that I needed to do that BEFORE you deleted your photo! Sorry...you know what I'm trying to do; I just didn't explain it really well. I'll go ahead and move my entry to the cemetery. You can check it later and do what needs to be done. I think I also had some links on mine. The bad thing about how they list "unknown" cemetery listings is that nobody sees them unless you just put in the person's name only. They need a better way, I think.
Thanks so much and I'll get that done now.

Diane, Just noticed that you had found where this man was buried. I had already created a memorial in 2011; but at the time, we thought he'd been cremated; but not buried, so he's just in the general listings (# 71066276).
I thought that what we might do is let me move his memorial to the Greenwood cemetery in which you found his marker; you delete your entry BUT put on the photo you took. There have been some flowers, etc left on the one I made, so I thought this would be easier; but, please let me know what you think.
You can email me at: missmarple51@hotmail.com, if you'd rather.
Thanks.

Garner & Gertrude Pryor
Aloha,

I just found your photo of Garner & Gertrudeʻs grave markers... Gertrude is 3rd cousin of my husband. May I use the photo on my private family tree? I always give credit to the find a grave members who share their photos with me... thanks so much...
