|I've been doing family genealogy and I love Find A Grave.|
I welcome any corrections, links, etc. to my memorials and I'm always willing to transfer memorials that aren't my kinfolk to an actual relative. I'm sure I've made many mistakes and I won't be offended if you point them out......:-)

Would you tell me where this grave is located in the Flynn Cemetery? I am trying to make a map of the graves in this cemetery and have not been able to locate this grave.

Thank you for adding the information... Anytime..
Hi! Regarding your photo request, can you please contact the cemetery and obtain the Section, Lot, and Grave Number information, and then post it to your request? Please also ask if there is a grave marker and add that information to your photo request and/or memorial. The Find A Grave FAQs state the photo requestor is responsible to provide this information.
Elmwood Cemetery: (708) 453-0273
This cemetery provides extremely limited assistance to photo volunteers with finding a grave's location. Last year I was able to fulfill almost 200 photo requests at Elmwood through this process. Because the lots in this cemetery are poorly marked, almost no one else ever photographs here. I have only had success here because I have spent literally weeks at a time to learn the intricacies of the layout of this cemetery.
Thank you for helping me to help you.

Yellowstone County has a great searchable Website for many of their cemeteries. It shows them only three lots apart, which may be a typo...so I changed the name to Lucy.
|Bob Carter||RE: Andrew Simmons father|
I did some more checking for you.
Andrew's father was Adolphus Simmons and he was married at at least twice. First to Julia Ann Hays (Hayes, born abt 1878) in Surry County, NC on 19 May 1895 and then to Mary Jane Whitaker in Surry on 30 Nov 1902 in Bryan Township.
The death record (on-line index) for Andrew shows mother as Mary Jane Whitaker, but Julia was his birth mother and she must have died between 1900-1902 since she is on the 1900 census and Andrew is age 2. So his actual DOB is not really known, but it would have been with Julia as his mother. See this link:
Hope this clears it up and I'm correcting my records too. Have no idea where Adolphus is buried.
