Mockbee grave
Hello Ms. Flowers!

I just found in my Junk Mail a Find-A-Grave notification that you had completed my photo request.

Thank you so much for doing this kindness!

I was disappointed to see that the tombstone had no surviving inscription so I remain a little confused about this particular Mockbee grave. I believe Caroline had a son James Barrett Mockbee, but he survived into the 1960s.

I do thank you for taking the time to get the photo.
Looks like a lovely setting for a cemetery!

George Price/Prince 25370216
I declined your edit to George "Price" as I found him actually to be George Prince, son of Joseph. The member who originally added his memorial made a typo on his last name. Original cemetery records list him as Prince and his obituary is in the same name. Please see his memorial for that info. If you added links to him as father to Mark B. Price please submit an edit to delete them as George's obit doesn't state that he was married or had children. Thanks.

Please remove the cross, as a Jehovah's Witnesses we don't use the cross in our worship to God. It is considered an idol to us. Thanks

RE: Frances Lillian McPhail
I edited the caption to say buried in same plot as opposed to buried next to. I probably thought at the time that she was next to as I was given that plot number by the admin. Hope this clears things up. If you needed more info on dates the admin might have it and I could message you that number

RE: Thanks for taking the time to photograph the stones as you mow!
Hi Eva,

I did happen across a listing of burial records for Higginsville Cit Cemetery: and it does include a map. The larger site it is a part of, Concordia Memories, has many other genealogy resources for this area.

Clara Carroll

You just submitted an edit for Clara Carroll at Mt Morris Cemetery. I'm not a relative. I only photographed while in the cemetery. Would you like a transfer? :-)

RE: Frances Lillian McPhail
Hi, I checked with the person who keeps the records at Forest Hill and Frances IS in same plot as John. I went to cemetary to check and that is the only head stone. He said if cremated they were allowed to put 2 people in same plot. Hope this helps, maybe you could reference that on Frances page so it isnt confusing to someone in future. Thanks

Hi Eva,

One could contact the cemetery office about the burial location. I just 'mowed the rows' as the saying goes and photographed ever tombstone in this cemetery without knowing the plot numbering system.
