Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been climbing around
on my Family Tree, swinging
on it's branches, and digging
at it's roots for over
30 years, (since 1975).
I have been widowed since 1991, retired in 2005.
I LOVE Find-A-Grave. It is a wonderful
asset to the genealogy world.
If I've created a record that someone
needs to correct, update or add
information, please let me know and
I'll be glad to add your information
for you;... or if the person is your
direct family member, and you would
like to have me transfer "ownership"
of that memorial page to you, please
let me know...If that person is not
directly related to me and they are
directly related to you; I will be
glad to transfer their memorial to
you. However, I want to note:
Nearly all of the memorials that I
have created are connected to my
family tree and are a result of a
lot of years hard work and research.

To all the members who have been
kind enough to transfer "ownership"
of my family members to me....
I THANK YOU!
Find A Grave is one of my favorite
sites.
It has given me a place that I can
remember my loved ones and honor
their memory.

If you have time, please leave a flower
for my dear husband, Roy E. Hughes.

Ms. Hughes,

On the gravesite of Hannah Sweezy McFarland, you have given a link to her daughter as Hannah Gettys.

Hannah Sweezy McFarland might have had a daughter named Hannah, but it is not my aunt Hannah McFarland Gettys. Will you please remove the link to my aunt Hannah as it is incorrect.

I am no relation to Hannah Sweezy McFarland, so please do NOT assign her grave to me!

Thanks,
Bill

I am looking for the maiden name of Hannah-1716 (married to David Watson). I notice that most people on Ancestry, including you, list her as Hughes. I can find no documentation on it, however. If you don't mind sharing, I would love to know where the information came from. I am a Watson with a father from Benton,Arkansas, tracking back to SC, and possibly both Scotland and Ireland. I'm in the process of trying to untangle the threads now. Thanks. Paula Watson Bonin

RE: Rev. Ezekiel Hogue
How can I find your tree on ancestry.com? I would love to look at it, is it Public or Private? Thank you for answering me. I just thought you would appreciate another source for research info that's why I told you about Bettye Hogue Bond as she has so much on that line, I have been trying to verify and some it is correct and some is not. I am one of those people who trys very hard to verify all my info if I can.
Thanks,
Tootz

RE: Rev. Ezekiel Hogue
Hi again LoRetta,
Thanks for your response to my 2nd e-mail. Did you get a chance to read the 1st one. I asked several questions like are you related to the Hogue family etc. When you can and if you are willing could you please read it and answer my other questions?
Thanks again,
Tootz

Rev. Ezekiel Hogue
Hi again. Another question, I see that Ezekiel and his wife Sarah's memorial pages both created by you have the same headstone but the headstone is just for Ezekiel her dates are not on it. Is his wife Sarah buried with him but has no headstone? I'm confused? Did you just research her info and create a memorial page for her and use her husband's headstone on her page? Just hoping to clear up my confusion.
Thanks again,
Tootz

Rev. Ezekiel Hogue #21022609
Hi LoRetta:
My 2nd great grandpa John Alexander Hogue was Ezekiel's brother. How are you related to the Hogue's? I read your bio and am assuming from that that you are related? Have you ever connected with Bettye Hogue Bond #46479640. I don't know if she goes out and takes pictures as a volunteer for findagrave.com or if she just created some memorial's for some of her relative's. I am into genealogy research and I found Bettye through findagrave about year ago. I just thought if you hadn't connected with her and been to her Hogue website which has Hogue info all the way back to the 1600's, that you might like to know about her since you are into genealogy research and may be related to the Hogue/Clower etc. line. I believe she has left flowers on some of your memorial pages for our relatives. Chances are you already know her. I llok forward to hearing from you.
Thanks,
Tootz

William Thomas Blanton
LoRetta,

My blood line is Blanton, and if your related to William Thomas Blanton I am as well. I have extensive information on my family the Blanton. Now I trying to see in any of my tree came south to South Carolina. If you know of any information, that would be great.

Looking forward to hearing from you,
Nita Blanton Blount, Summerville, SC

RE: Incorrect memorials
Since you were able to find these individuals using both their birth and married names, I fail to see the problem. I must admit that I do not appreciate your caustic tone. I would have thought that the addition of these cites with pictures would be cause for gratitude and not carping. If you can only chime in with carping, please do not contact me again.
