As per FindAGrave rules:|
"Determine if you really need the memorial transferred to you for management. Transferring of management should only be requested If you have extensive changes to make to a memorial. You can add photos and suggest corrections without having to request management. Simply having someone in your family tree is not grounds for a management transfer request. With hundreds of thousands of contributors, we have many overlapping family trees and it would be impossible for all contributors to manage their entire tree."
"Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren."
[NOTE: A DIRECT relative in NOT your cousin, uncle or aunt, niece or nephew, etc.]
"The goal is not to "own" every memorial of those to whom you are related. The ultimate goal should be to have meaningful, accurate memorials that honor those who have passed away, regardless of who created the memorial or who maintains it."
I have hundreds of relatives that I have found here on Find A Grave but I do not have "ownership" of their memorial pages. Find A Grave has created a wonderful tool, the "Virtual Cemetery", to help us to keep track of these relatives that have been added by our good volunteers. I have created Virtual Cemeteries for all branches of my family and find this to be a very efficient way to keep track of my family. Please use this tool instead of asking for transfers that fall outside the bounds of Find A Grave policy.

Hey, JoAnn ...
I submitted an edit request for Archie Mercer a few minutes ago asking for deletion of his duplicate memorial. You can ignore that request. When I did a surname search for Nimmo Cemetery, I noticed that all memorials are duplicated, and I also noticed that the original creator of the memorials is refusing to edit them (hence the more thorough duplicates).
Thanks for creating better memorials ... Your photos are better, too.
|Dawn Curl||Ferrell info|
I would so appreciate knowing how you found the family info on James Thomas Ferrell that is included on his page. Particularly the info on his parents William and Nancy A. I have been trying to discover if James might have been the brother of my great, great grandfather William R. Ferrell. His parents were William and Abigail. I'm wondering if William and Nancy A. were William and Nancy. William R. did have a brother Thomas, so I am wondering if James Thomas is that Thomas.
Are any of these Ferrells your family? I'd love to hear from you if so, and if you have an answer to the above question.
All the best,
|Mark Dixon||Andrew McNamara (d. 1862)|
JoAnn, you left flowers for Andrew McNamara, who is buried at the St. Augustine Cemetery in Fulton County. He was my 3rd-great grandfather. Are you related?
(You may reach me at firstname.lastname@example.org.)

Thank you for the memorials & photos you've created for the Shipp family. Ernest & Janie are my husband's maternal great grandparents. We recently visited the church cemetery and were curious about the engraving on the back of the headstone. Ernest E. Shipp Jr. of course is Ernest Sr & Janie's son. However, the second engraving is Jerry (1951 - 1954). Do you know his relationship to the others?

Hi JoAnn, My 2nd Great Grandparents are Ralph Henry Dixon 22491856 and Jacamine Brown Dixon 22491927. They are my family and direct ancestors. Thank you so very much for creating their memorials. Would you be so kind as to transfer their memorials to me to care for and manage?

JoAnn, I am new to this site and was going through my families records, and noticed that you had taken pictures of Paternal Grandfathers side, as well as my Paternal Grandmothers side. Is this just coincidence, or are we related somehow? Thanks.
Hi joann, would you mind transferring my grandmother's memorial to me. A distant relative seems to be claiming a lot of the family memorials and I want to make sure she doesn't claim my grandma too (who is not her direct relative). Memorial 19247203

Hey JoAnn, would you mind linking my grandmothers record to that of her daughter? My aunt's grave ID is 111260287 and my grandmother was Frances Victoria McCarthy Gimbert, grave ID 19247203.

|Stacye ||Strawbridge Family Cemetery|
Would you mind transferring the Strawbridge Family Cemetery / Burials to me.
The Cemetery is the Ward Family Cemetery ~ my families cemetery.
The Brown family purchased the land from my Great-Great-Grandmother Mary Cannon Ward after she sold it off due to taxes in the early 1900s.
