 | Civil War Vet I am trying to locate the burial place of a Civil War Veteran. His name was Harrison Bishop and he died 13 Feb 1924 in Sumner Township, Warren County, IL according to the IL death record on ancestry.com. It states that he was buried in the Ohio Grove Cemetery. Can you help me locate him. He was a Civil War Vet also. | | | Matt Cumberledge
 | Anderson Etc... Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you..
I sent you an email with the originals of the pics from the Anderson Cemetery in Greene County Pennsylvania. I have also had a chance to check out your website, and I like it quite a bit. The last few months, I have been involved in restoring a small family cemetery here in PA, and it takes a lot of work, especially when you get into the legal side of things. Keep up the good work.
Also, the email I sent the photo's to was the one I found on your website, if you don't get the pics, feel free to email me at mattwc@windstream.net with a good email address and I'll get them out to you. | | | Diane Gravlee
 | Chas Anderson II will copy Foxie, we got home earlier than expected. I need your email address to send a copy that I think will be a bit clearer. thanks, Diane dggravlee@gmail.com | | | history4sure
 | John W. Schrodt Hi Foxie: I am looking for some Schrodts in Fulton County. You added a nice photo to memorial # 21089591 at Wiley Cemetery, but the memorial says died 15 January 1899, while the stone says May 8 1852 - the stone is for a man born 27 February 1801 at Deerfield Twp., but there is also another Johann "John" Wendel Schrodt buried at Wiley who died 15 Jan. 1899. He was the husband of Maria "Mary" Catherine Mahr. Did some photos happen to get mixed up? Any help appreciated. Thanks~Shirleen [history4sure] | | | Kent Mauk
 | Galva cemtery Just as well you haven't been there. I've recently added the plot numbers for the Cochrane burials, hope that helps. Still dying to find some Noteware burials there! I'm sorry for your travails and hope they get better soon! You're such a go-getter! | | | Kent Mauk
 | Galva hey sugar, did you ever make it up to Galva Cemetery to look for Noteware or Cochrane or Gilbert graves? The local gen soc's don't answer very fast :( | | | Baxter B. Fite III
 | Housh Familty, Clark Chapel Cemetery Dear Foxie, Thanks for the great pictures of the tombstones of the Housh family in the Clark Chapel Cemetery. They are greatly appreciated. Baxter | | | Kent Mauk
 | Adam Housh I can't move him. He's in Clark Chapel now, which Find A Grave says is the same as Housh-Walter-Summer. There are no cemeteries set up now named Housh or Walter or Summer in Knox County. I would have to set up a new cemetery to move him. | | | Kent Mauk
 | Housh Walter Summer cemetery Find A Grave says this is the same as Clark Chapel ?? They are as confused as I am. | | | Kent Mauk
 | Adam Housh Ahhh the famous Foxxy !! Been using your Knox County cemetery info for a long time! I will check and see what my Gullett book says about Adam Housh burial info, if anything, before moving him. If the Gullett book doesn't have anything contradictory I'll move him tonight.
I didn't create this memorial and for the life of me I don't know why he was transferred to me. He's not a direct ancestor but his sister Barbara Housh Gullett is.
I'm looking for anyone named Noteware or Cochrane who is buried in Galva Cemetery. I can't find them on your webpages. Are your listings complete? I sure need some look-up help on this one, Knox Co G.S. hasn't replied. | | | | [View all messages...] |
