|Recording each person's time on this Earth is a very worthy objective, expecially for historical and genealogical purposes. I am happy that I can be a small part of this great world-wide collection of information. But, in the interest of efforts expended and reasonable time I have to index, photo and service memorials may I ask for your cooperation with the following: |
I am not related to most of the entries I've posted and try only to enter information appearing on the gravemarkers, including associated photographs (where possible).
Please,(if you are not a Findagrave Contributor) and will send your requests through FAG, I will try to answer questions, respond to comments, make additions and/or corrections and will attempt to enter your requests as time will permit.
Please, (if you are a Findagrave Contributor), follow Findagrave's instructions explaining proper procedures before requesting any action, in your behalf, to be initiated by the original Contributor. I will continue to update and correct my entries, including Linkages for identifiable families.
However, I have found it necessary to now disregard all Obituary, all Newspaper, and all other similar requests for postings and updates that refer to either second or third party documentary sources (or both). I believe these types of requests should be taken care of by the Contributors who can maintain and support entries made through their own records.
Transfers from the original Contributor to the requesting Contributor is often possible, and preferred, to accomplish a satisfactory update to a Memorial. The requesting Contributor can then become the "Maintainer" of the Memorial.
To preclude your E-Mails and Messages from not being received and acted upon, would you enter "Findagrave" as the subject. If you will provide me with, at least, the specific Cemetery and Find A Grave Memorial #'s ( I.D.Numbers) with your requests, I will attempt to fulfill those requests. I want to emphasize I do not use the "Edit" provision, at this time, for any updates to entries I have originated and maintain.
Please note: If a subject photo is not completely clear, you can get that photo (shown as the acutal photo I submitted to Findagrave), by clicking on the "blurred" photo, which will then be clear, printable and quite suitable for use.
Thanks to all, in advance, for assisting me in this work. I really appreciate the many fine people that have become my friends through this association with Findagrave. To experience the harmonious, patient and co-operative nature of our worldwide informative site makes my participation very worthwhile and enjoyable. I will continue to try to make every day a beautiful day for each of us.

Thank you so much for adding the marker photo for Ophelia Johnson in the Cambridge (near Downey) Idaho Cemetery! We knew it must be there, but have not found it. The Sexton has no record of this grave, but also believes it is there. Ophelia is a twin of Othelia, who died at birth. Ophelia lived 8 days.
I know this was posted in 2007. We are wondering if you might remember where in the cemetery this was located. We were there on 3-20-2015 and walked the area and did not find this marker. At this time of year, it may have been over grown with grass. These two babies are my grandmother's sisters. If you have any information that might lead us to this site we would be very grateful.
Thank You for all you do!!

Will you please consider transferring Samuel's profile to me. I am his direct line. He is my great grandfather.
He had two wives, the first was Mary Emma HOUTZ, my great grandmother. His second is Angela Maria McCarthy.

Thank you very much for transferring Brainard Hines to me. I greatly appreciate it. I wonder if you could also transfer William M. Hines, #43063760, to me as well. He is the brother of Brainard M. Hines. Thank you very much.

Thank you for the reply regarding Brainard Hines. I'm afraid I'm a newbie here and haven't seen the paragraphs to which you refer. However, if there is some way that you can transfer the memorial to me that would be most appreciated.

May I also request the transfer of Rose Holliday Atkinson's husband, my great grandfather, George Richard Atkinson Memorial # 35794638?

I would like to request that you please Transfer Barton Glenn Damron's(Memorial Number 43060747.) memorial to me. He is my Uncle (My mother's brother) if that is possible. If not can you list My Grandmother, Evaune Elizabeth Dye Damron, Memorial number 43060748) as Barton Glenn Damron's Mother on his page?

Can you link my great aunt Clara Minerva Richardson McKnelly (Find A Grave Memorial# 43252332) to her parents:
Thomas Richardson (Find A Grave Memorial# 14862060)
Merab Amelia Stone Richardson (Find A Grave Memorial# 14862138)
Thanks for your assistance with this.
I appreciate all that you have done with creating the many memorials on Find-A-Grave. Many of my relatives are buried in the Mountain View Cemetery in Pocatello and the Inkom Cemetery and you have created their memorials.

Hello, I'm not sure I understand your profile correctly. Are you asking us NOT to use the edit option for a memorial? I have a copy of the death certificate for this man that includes his full name. places & dates of birth and death, and his parents names. Can you please tell me how you would prefer I send this information? Thanks.

Thank you for all your generous time in setting up memorials and documenting information. In reviewing the memorial you created for my husbands grandmother, I noted you created two memorials for her. I'm sure this is because her headstone name was incomplete and you may have found her in a listing at the cemetery with another portion of her name ...
I have submitted an update to you for her name and birth/death dates for the memorial in which you have posted a headstone picture . I am guessing you may want to delete the other memorial...it has less info and no headstone picture.
Here are the two memorials for
Inge Marie Mikkelsen Hjort Howard
1. 43064105 (no headstone photo) created Oct 2009
2. 44991807 ( headstone photo) created Dec 2009...I have submitted updates for her full name and birth and death dates- which you included in the first memorial.
Thank you again for all your generosity of time and energy.
