|Alane Beck||Memorial # 9533745 for Rachel M Allen|
On this memorial page it states that Rachel Mahala Allen is buried in the Draper Cemetery. She actually died and is buried in Missouri. Her being listed on the cemetery headstone for Allen is simply a listing of all their children. Could you please change the place of burial? I have not found the burial place yet. Her husband died the following year right after Rachel Mahala Allen Irvine's parents, James Allen and Nancy McDaniels left Missouri to travel to Utah. I would appreciate your help with this problem.

I see your request for a photo on findagrave for Westview Cemetery. I am familiar with that cemetery and would be happy to look for you. Would you please call the cemetery office at 404-755-6611 to find out the section and lot numbers for your request? And please also confirm there is actually a marker. The office is reluctant to give me that information and in fact has threatened to charge me for it. They do however give it easily to relatives. The cemetery is massive and that section/lot information will help me narrow the search.

Indeed I did take a close-up of hers as well and have already posted it.

You're welcome. This cemetery is very poorly maintained, especially in the rear. I took a shortcut from one section to another through a heavily over-grown area when I came across the Bell family stone. I wouldn't have seen the individual stones otherwise as they were covered in dead leaves and overgrowth. My great-grandfather is interred in this cemetery in 1944. From what I hear it was a beautiful cemetery back then. The neighborhood around the cemetery has also declined significantly.

Back in the early part of April you made a request for a grave photo for Ralph E McClellan interred in Ocean County Memorial Park in Toms River, NJ. I was not available at that time. I did, however, look it up recently and there is no grave marker. I checked each grave on either side to be certain there was in fact no marker. I took a photo of the area if you would like to have that. Let me know.
I see your photo request for Westview Cemetery in Atlanta. If you would please call the office at 404-755-6611 and request the section and lot numbers, I will go and look for you. The office wants to charge me for that information. The cemetery is massive and if I have a section number it will help narrow the search. Thanks.

I can't say that he is buried at Resurrection Cemetery in Springfield. I can say there is a permanent marker for him there and that the b/d information was found in a local obit. I can't recall if the local obit included the phrase; "will be buried in Resurrection Cemetery" or something similar, but neither did it say he will be buried in Bonham, Texas. That's the best I can do unless the funeral home is contacted and resolves it. One of those mysteries...
