I have a beautiful wife and two beautiful daughters. It's good to be king. I'm a 57 year old ex-Marine and disabled, so I probably have too much time on my hands. I can't think of a better way to spend my extra time, than paying tribute to all who passed before me. I enjoy meeting cousins that, ordinarily I would never have met if I were not involved in GENEalogy.
I also enjoy a lively sense of humor, but at the same time, I have a sincere respect for the late people that made this country great. They should be remembered for their contributions.
For the last 4 + years, I have been primarily focused on Johnson Chapel Cemetery in Danville, Morgan County, Alabama. I really want to do nice things there.
I've also undertaken a project at Maple Hill Cemetery in Huntsville, Alabama to upgrade some memorials that were originally created by another contributor. I would like to thank contributors, Heather, Pamela Moyers and others for there invaluable input.
Please consider every memorial that I have posted as a work in progress, as I will continue to try to improve them.
Thank you and may God bless all that took the time to leave a flower at the memorial for my baby girl, Crystal Jeanine Hill. It means more than you might know.

Gene, thank you so very much for sending me Don's obit. I have added it to his memorial and definitely feel it is an added bonus. Like you, I am a genealogy buff and feel it's important to have as much info as possible in the memorials. Thanks to Find A Grave memorials, I have had many genealogy questions answered. Don and I went to the same small school where everyone knew everyone else and Don's wife, Ann, and I were in the same class in high school and continue to keep in touch.
I especially want to thank you for giving so much by having served our country. Thank you and may God bless you and your family!

Dear Gene,
I am Charles Wigginton's daughter. Thank you so much for adding my dad's memorial. My friend told me recently having added one for my mom. I think you did leave us a note in the online guest book. But thank you so much for what you do. What a thoughtful wY to honor those passed. My mom was probably a member as she was very active in genealogy and a volunteer w/ Morgan co. Archives. I was going to ask for a transfer but didn't know how and signing up was simpler and faster.

I deleted the duplicate. It is a little frustrating, but so is the fact that the people at Maple Hill have so many errors in their online databases as well. We can only do so much!
Take your time on the corrections. I had copied myself on some of them and was cleaning out my inbox, so I just sent them to you again. But no hurry.
