God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The courage to change the things I can,
And the wisdom to know the difference.

|John Paul Baremore||Thank You!|
I appreciate your posting the gravestone for Jesse and Addie Swint out at Social Springs Cemetery - Many Thanks! - JP
|Virginia Wilson Bailey||RE: Huggins Family|
My first husband was the son of Fannie Elizabeth Huggins Boyet and Claude Elmo Boyet. They are buried in Social Springs Cemetery, Red River Parish, LA. We have several of our family buried there.
Also, the land for Social Springs Cemetery was donated by a Huggins and Woodard. As you pass the cemetery and come around a curve there is a small Huggins Cemetery not far off of the road to the right. That property belongs to my son. His grandmother left her house and property to him.
This old Huggins Cemetery has several graves in it and they have tombstones. I have done everything that I can to do memorials for them. It is bad shape and needs a good cleaning and a new fence. I do not have photos of each grave, but when my son can he will take photos for me.
I have got to slow down on Findagrave and other things and do some work on my family notebooks.
Good to hear from you!

Thank you so very much for getting pictures of headstones. Are you related? I am a granddaughter of B.J. Martin, son of Jesse, son of William. Appreciate the pictures and Memorials!

I have noticed that you have been visiting the Huggins Memorials that I placed on Find A Grave. Are you related to them?
I am related to them through Fannie Elizabeth Huggins Boyet. I was her daughter-in-law.
The Huggins Cemetery is on land that belongs to my son.

Thanks for your kind message. It does seem like some people consider themselves the "Correction Police". I guess we all have those who will try to find something wrong with our posts. I have one of those locally who used to send me between 5 and 10 edits per day. Finally, I started ignoring them all. I don't have time to run down each and every one to check the accuracy. I started working that Cemetery (Hillcrest Memorial)a couple of years ago when there was just over 2,000 Memorials. Now, it's going on 6,000. It's an old Cemetery and I know a lot of people who are buried there personally. A short while back I was working on a new Memorial there and stopped to verify some in formation on it. Someone began to send me Edits before I finished it. In my family research I've discovered that it's almost a necessity to rely on Findagrave for missing pieces. You have a good day now.

Thank you for the transfer of this memorial.
|June (Wallingsford) Smith||Donna Walingford Newman|
Thank you for posting this pic. This is my cousin on my Dad's side of family. Riley Roy Wallingsford was her dad and my Dad's brother.
|Katherine Montgomery||Lula Robinson|
Me again, Lula Robinson was also the daughter of Robert H and Emily Wilson Bougues, for ancestry searchers, please add Bougues as her maiden name in your info on her.
|Katherine Montgomery||Beulah Lee|
Thanks you for the information and phots you provide. Beulah was my aunt and her maiden name is spelled Bougues (daughter of Robert H and Emily Wilson Bougues). Bougues is not on her headstone but it is referenced in the list by names provided of those interred at Mout Zion in Red River Parish. Just wanted to correct for ancestry research.
