I use FAG as a means of communicating to others the information I accumulate. I appreciate your postings on my memorials, but please, no death certificates.
I'll be happy to transfer records to you if you are relatives of those I have management of. To request changes of any kind, go to the memorial in question, click on the at the top right of the memorial and then select the desired option. That will give me a link to the proper memorial. Changes requested here on my profile page will be deleted with no action.
I post pictures of the persons based on what I have available. If you have better pictures, feel free to post them and send me a note so I can decide if I want to remove the one I have posted.

I am wondering if you are related to Carl James McCrory (Find A Grave: 45444099)?
|Steve Maynard||Dr Charles L Carter|
Dr. Charles L Carter (73041996) was my great-great-grandfather, and I recently visited his grave in the Holden Cemetery.
I have read conflicting years of his death, and now I know why. According to his obituary in the Journal of the American Medical Association, he was 70, which means he died in 1902. But at first glance, his headstone looks as if his year of death was 1900, making him 68. I looked at the stone closely, and it appears the date was originally engraved as 1900, but later corrected to 1902, which corresponds to the obituary. I will upload a photo I took so you can see what I'm talking about.
Thanks for your attention.
|Summer Anderson||Nathan Turner Breshears|
Hello. I am new to researching my family's history and am very grateful to this site. I believe Nathan Turner Breshears to be my gggg Grandfather. This is very exciting. I'm looking forward to finding more. Thank you for your time and effort.
|Ann Taylor||Sarah Ann Franklin Cooper|
I posted a picture of Sarah Cooper who is buried in Laurens, SC. The picture was found in my grandmother's (Florence McDaniel Reid) home in Laurens. My mom told me that my grandmother always said that we were kin to Benjamin Franklin and the picture of Sarah hung in their home in Due West, SC when she was a child. My grandmother never displayed the picture in her home in Laurens because she thought the picture was so ugly. My mom had it framed after my grandmother died and hung it in the house in Laurens. It is now at the Laurens County Museum.
When I posted the picture it was sideways and I could not rotate it. I will fix it later.

|Erwin de Mooij||Anthony Villane|
Dear miss Thomas,
my name is Erwin de Mooij and I am the content webmaster for the 457th Bomb Group Association website.
At this moment I am working on a virtual cemetery/memorial on the website honering all 339 KIA/MIA/KIS of the group.
I saw your picture of Anthony Villane's grave marker and I was wondering if I could use it for the memorial. If you made any other photos of 457th BG members would I be able to use these too?
We would greatly appreciate it.
