|In researching my family tree, I have been fortunate to find many ancestors on Find A Grave.com. |
From my own grandparent's stone I have seen many, many times, all the way to my wife dad's baby brother that was born in 1904, and died in 1906 at 2 years old, and is buried in another state. My wife is one of ten children, and none of the family that I have talked to have ever seen that stone!
Thanks to all the great contributors for all your hard work, and allowing others the benefit of seeing a grave stone of burial site that might have otherwise been impossible.
God Bless each of you! AlnJoy, The Stokes Folks

Hi again Allan,
My grandmother's name should be spelled Gertrude not Gertruide and her last name should be spelled as Hille and not Hillie. Thanks!

Thanks for recording my grandfather's grave in Find-A-Grave!. His name was Edward Louis Hille (not Edaward) and his date of death was Feb 6, 1965. His wife was Gertrude Mae Crow Hille and if you would take a picture of these two graves and post it to Find-a-grave, I would be grateful.
The next time you go to this cemetery, would it be possible to take a picture of Edward and Gertrude's grave? I can't remember if it's a double stone or if they each have single stones.
As you know, Gertrude was the sister of your grandmother, Lucille Crow Stokes.

I have the death certificate for Carl Thomas Rickard and it says he was buried at Hicklin Cem in Anton, Ky.
He was 19. He was married to Mary Florence Oldham.
His father, Robert Elvis Rickard, is buried at Free Union in Sacramento and his mother is buried here in Evansville Indiana.
Carl was shot and killed by his brother-in-law, Tom West.
He probably does not have a marker.
Thank you so much for looking at Hicklin
Thank you so much for the pictures of Lutetia and Richard Brown's headstones. I really appreciate it.
