Hi Sharon,
Do you know who Marie was married to? Or any information on a child she had? According to the 1910 Census, she had been married two years and the mother of one child.
Thanks in advance,

RE: Isabelle Shewalter Leach
Samuel V. Speakman was father to my grandfather Fred Speakman. The father of Samuel V. Speakman is Joshua Speakman who lived and built his home in Pike County.I now know that Isabelle is mother to ny grandmother Priscilla (Leach) Speakman, and she is buried in the same cemetery as my grandmother. I thought I would let you know, I even found a picture. There is no doubt that since you hunt people in Vinton County, you have seen a lot of Josh's family, because he had a lot of children.

Elk Fork Cemetery
Have been to McArthur a few times and always visited Elk and Old McArthur cemeteries where a lot of relatives are buried. Just noticed there is an Elk Fork Cemetery - have a gg grandmother that died in 1850 and now think she may be there. Is this cemetery accessible - from satellite pictures it looks like it is on private property. Is there a list of all interments, perhaps at the library? Her name was Amelia Seeley Filkins Sylvester Shephard (or Shepard).

Isabelle is my grandmother's(Priscilla (Leach,)mother.Isabelle is my great grandmother. Isabelle's husband is George and they are buried in the same cemetery as her daughter Priscilla, and Fred Speakman.I found their grave stone, but no relatives listed on the grave page.Isabele was a Shewalter, she is connected to Speakmans only my her daughter. Thanks any way, if you notice any other Shewalter that have a connection to Isabelle, like to know.
